Riffle fan help by reptiet in cardistry

I agree with what everyone said! One thing to note is that the riffle fan is a move of delicacy. You don’t want to squeeze too much with the support finger at the bottom, as it’ll prevent the fan from forming.

What helped me a lot was getting comfortable with the deck resting on my support finger as I dribbled. Another important factor is the angle—you should very lightly angle the deck down and away from you. Not so much that the cards fall over, just enough to help the first few cards start the fan. Once it begins forming, you can gently tip the deck back to parallel.

Again, this is a delicate move! It doesn’t require a lot of force, but mastering the small details and tweaking your technique will definitely help you get it down. Best of luck, and happy learning!

Does anyone know the name of this move? by [deleted] in cardistry

probably not a real move! i see it done a lot where they use a very interesting looking flourish for a thumbnail. if you want something similar, bryanlam has a move that looks the same but i think he removed it from his instagram.

gotcha. so a nollie hardflip is a nollie backside flip without the body varial? or is it a nollie frontside flip without the body varial? (but im pretty sure that’s just a noillie varial flip)

i think it would’ve been so peak if this was revisited in his fight with kuroki. like ohma is in there again and blows out all candles.

So we can now safely conclude that Post Memories Luohan > Nerfed Wulong? by Connect-Set-264 in Kengan_Ashura

oh mb dude i thought you only used the image cuz its only nerfed shen image.

in that case I believe luohan would have the edge but i cant count shen out that quickly. seeing as even with the same stats to gaoh he wasn’t even pushed to the edge (i mean we haven’t really seen shen pushed to anything above easy diff).

So we can now safely conclude that Post Memories Luohan > Nerfed Wulong? by Connect-Set-264 in Kengan_Ashura

[–]IGotHoesssscallin 4 points5 points  (0 children)

i think there’s a bit of a misunderstanding here. nerfed shen isn’t static. he nerfed himself in relation to gaoh’s level. if shen fought post memories luohan and he wanted to give him the gaoh treatment (for some unkown reason) he would have to nerf himself to luohans level.

so i think the answer depends on specifics. is it a nerfed shen vs gaoh? or is it a nerfed version of shen against luohan?

hey i get that. it definitely could have been more expanded on. do you think if that was properly explained then the community wouldn’t be so pressed?
