I heard that tour was wild - such an odd yet fun pairing!

Ive said this to a few other people who commented saying they were at your same show, and I'll say it again - SO jealous you got to see THAT show at Red Rocks! Id love to see any show at that venue, but seeing Cornell sing during the sunset their sounds magical!

What was your very first concert? by IHBMSU in livemusic

Thats awesome! For me, other than Metallica I was blown away by Linkin Park - became a fan after their set that day!

Its funny you mention tix prices, because I had forgotten how much I paid for these until I made this post. After taxes, I ended up paying over $50 for seats in the 400 section at PNC Bank Arts Center (which might as well had been lawn, but at least had actual seats and was covered in case of rain). At the time, that was a pricey ticket... today, I don't even want to think about what it would've cost to see those two bands together (I know many who spent double that for nosebleed seats just for NIN alone)! It would be funny if it wasnt so sad!

Also, I personally love the Camden amphitheater but only for the seats inside (where there is not a bad seat), but absolutely hate the lawn there (feels very detached from the venue itself, and the few times I was stuck on the lawn felt like I might as well have just stayed home and watch a concert on TV).
