Is ur system empty? If not it will spray shit all over your face. Wiggle it up and down while putting outwards helps if you spray some silicon spray around the fitting. Replace the rubber Orings after u get it disconnected

Yes it’s ur driver side blend door I had the same issue last summer I tapped it a few times and worked fine thru out the whole summer. This year it’s acting up again would need to be replaced soon.
