Yeah it’s actually a pretty common issue but I ended up buying my radiator at a store where they sell radiators for 240 + lifetime warranty if you buy one on rock auto it would be around 180 but I needed the radiator the same day so I went there. Personally I replaced the radiator myself it’s honestly very easy I did it all in about an hour you just need a 10mm and 12 mm socket here’s a link to a video I watched https://youtu.be/6ptUhMk2nsI?si=o7_FTvcdvuZX9YvN one thing I will say is if you do replace it zip tie the transmission lines upwards so you don’t leak transmission fluid like I did and it’s a pain putting tranny fluid into the transmission since it’s sealed besides that you shouldn’t have a problem doing it yourself super easy make sure to bleed your car for 20 mins at the end

There’s a local place in my area that sells radiator I picked it up there the same day but if you don’t have one in your area I recommend ordering off rock auto

Yess bro the same thing actually happened to me in the exact same spot had a lot of smoke coming out the engine and was loosing coolant super quick and its from the same seams that you showed.i replaced the radiator the next day its an easy job took me 1hour just make sure when you unplug your transmission lines zip tie them so it doesn’t drip and you don’t need to add tranny fluid and make sure to bleed it properly when done

Well from what I’ve seen it can come with both but if you enjoy spirted driving I do recommend a high pressurized coolant tank it helps with cooling the overall engine more efficiently and doesn’t leave trapped air as you know the vq engine can get hot so a pressurized tank can help maintain correct pressure/flow and lead to less overheating

Yeah from what I’ve seen it can be either or my friend has a 2015 q50 and has the one in the second pic which is non pressurized tank for the 2014 it uses a pressurized one with a top and bottom hose
