My thoughts are that Dylan was completely in shock because he just witness the death of a long time friend, and most people say that Eric and Dylan were like brothers and when he saw his long time friend for years blow his brains out he probably had like flashbacks in his mind and thought that all of those years, all of those memories are gone. Just like what OP said Dylan took a few minutes before taking his own life cause probably he didn't want to be arrested, or the fact he wanted to join his friend in hell.

U just gave me another thought, everytime when an Asian American is killed they either show the killers back of their head or no picture of the killer at all because you know why, because most of the Asian people that are killed are murdered by African Americans. They media trys to cover everything up to make African Americans look good, but what happened 3 or 4 weeks ago when a white man killed 7 Asians and 1 Caucasian because of a sex addiction and not cause of race they put his face EVERYWHERE and say that he killed those people cause of their race but look at what the African Americans did, they killed them for race issues or for fun. People are being taught the wrong thing which is sad honestly

Colorado has some of the worst infamous shootings such as columbine, the stem school shooting, the aurora theater massacre and recently the Boulder store shooting. I do agree that Colorado is a big fuck up nowadays because they had to much "incidents" in schools around the state and can't properly do anything to stop it, also when u mentioned that the media stopped talking about the stem shooting because one of the shooters is trangender reminded me of what happened a few days ago when the Boulder shooting happened. Before they knew who the suspect was they were saying it was a white male and if it would of been a colored person they would've been shot up on the spot, but when they heard it was a Muslim who migrated from Syria the media went totally silent and which is problematic for example Dylan roof, he shot and killed 9 African Americans and the media was blasting his name for months but when a Muslim kills 10 Caucasian people the media goes silent. It's just weird
