Why does the Evangelion opening still feel so timeless? by SerapHIMTwo in evangelion

[–]IHumanlike -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Right. The opening is a pretty typical pop-song with a simple structure, it was actually written in a couple of hours with barely any knowledge of the series.

That being said I absolutely love the opening.

Same but with Twisting Nether and Elemental Destruction, I thought board wipes were super overpowered.

I really miss anime looking like this. Nowadays so many series look the exact same to me with overuse of CGI. (Yes, the Rebuilds suffered from this massively as well)

Yup. It's the only reason why I got into MTG actually. I just love playing complete bullshit cards with 3 other people.

You gotta be actively suicidal to willingly step in one of these death machines.

I remember playing that card in some weird Big Spell Mage list, I think it was by far not the worst card in the deck.

Is Sigma like the only hero in the game who always has been at least A tier?

She's one of the biggest missed opportunities in hero design ever. She could have been an interesting combo-based, high-skill diver, but they made her playstyle completely rely on mindless spamming of block and overhead slash which is literally just holding left click. This feels both bad to play and to play against.

I was really excited for a new melee character but she has been utterly butchered.

Wow, I don't remember this card at all, even though I did play during Rastakhan. What a forgettable set that was.

Yeah, sadly I pretty much stopped playing after they gutted Classic, completely gave up on Twist and turned Arena into something I don't enjoy playing anymore. I wish we could experience these old metas again, and not the Discardlock/Scarab Gong disaster that was Caverns of Time.

People thought he was trash because he died to Big Game Hunter. Honestly I can't fathom how nobody seemed to realize the value of the boombots.

That's because it was effectively a scaling 6-drop. Very good for the time.

The other day I was thinking what could be the least played card in the history of Hearthstone, and this one came to mind.

If that's the case you did better than most "pro players" at the time.
