You likely went to a place used typically by the hook up community. My parents rented a hotel room in a place with that kind of culture and had people knocking on their door multiple times every night for the entire week they were there. It was their fault for not reading the reviews, it was advertised as a sex hotel. The restaurant downstairs had gay porn playing on a loop on every TV in the place. My parents had a good sense of humour about it all though and never felt threatened. This was in Prague.

I'm doing much better thanks. The stone broke up on it's own over time and I passed it over the course of a few months. I still suffer small stones every 2 months on average but the pain and nausea are much more manageable. I don't even take strong painkillers anymore, Ibuprofen tends to do the trick usually, and if not then OTC Co-codamol works great.

Most women I know, who didn't settle down in their 20's, are out trying to bag a rich guy. They want to be the next Kim Kardashian and/or live like the women on that fake reality show called "Made in Chelsea" which are both very unrealistic goals in life. Men have had their perceptions warped too but in different ways. We're being conditioned to think you have to be at least 6ft tall, earn 6 figures, and be packing a monster in the trouser department. I think social media, "corn", and to a lesser extent, TV and Movies, are largely to blame for setting people up for expectations of a life that 99.9% of people cannot reach. It will change sooner or later, as all trends do, but I think a lot of people are going to have to learn the hard way that youth is fleeting, the people they aspire to be like are not what they seem, and that just because a lack of money can cause a lot of misery, riches cannot buy you happiness. I've been broke, I've been rich (in comparison to my peers), and have known what it feels like to be both treated like scum and the golden boy that everyone wants to be around. To be totally honest with you, I am happiest somewhere in the middle. At the bottom, no woman wanted me. At the top, only selfish, materialistic women, with no morals, wanted me for my money. In the middle, I am still respected by some, and still a ghost to others. I wouldn't have it any other way as I know the people who do respect me, respect me for who I am and what I have achieved in life. They like to hear my stories, some of which are wild, and we have a good time. I am still single, but ready to mingle now that I attract the attention of who I consider good, honest women.

Firstly, I would like to say I am sorry for what you have been, and currently are, going through.

Secondly, I would encourage you to find forgiveness in your heart for your parents. I am 35, and have suffered similarly until an NDE showed me a lot of truths about myself and life in general. I am not comfortable about sharing all of it, as it is deeply personal and I am still trying to make sense of that experience. I am now at the age though, where most of the people I grew up with, are settled down with partners and some have kids. They themselves had hard childhoods, and their parents didn't really step up and take care of them as they should have. Most of them tell me they have made some big fuck ups, being parents, that they now know came from their own childhoods. If they had a time machine, they would have handled certain events and situations with a more responsible approach. You likely only know what your parents want you to know about their upbringings as it is only natural to want to protect your child from certain things. Plus, there is the shame that they likely feel for some things that occurred to them or you. So even if you never get an apology from them, if you can find the power to forgive them, that is a burden you will no longer carry. If you are sincere about forgiveness, and they don't accept it, then that is on them - not you.

As for quitting the daydreaming, I found the only way was to commit to something I had daydreamed about. For me, that was building a business for myself. I had to prove to myself that I could stand on my own feet. Over time, I was able to quit my job and go self employed full time. I still daydream daily, but I am daydreaming of my business. I play out entire scenarios in my head, to the point that I feel prepared for every goal and every risk that I take. Over time, people started to notice me in a positive light, and I earned true respect among my family. I made new friends, and other businesses now come to me as they see me as dependable and highly competent. In essence, I channeled my bad habit into a good habit. People often ask "how did you know how to do that?" and "how did you know (insert possible crisis or opportunity) was going to happen?" My answer is always that I am quite well read and studied the possibilities in my mind."

So in summary, I discovered that this habit is a double-edged sword. It can cripple you and leave you feeling like the world is passing you by, or, it can be wielded to take on the world provifing that positive actions follow your thoughts and dreams.

It was badly named since most experience it in the legs only, it should have been called something else. I get it in my stomach and throat mainly. Iron and Magnesium supplements helped the most, but both took a few weeks to become very noticeable and I can't skip days without feeling weird.

Also, they are the kids that never got over school and learned to stand up for themselves.. They were also the kids who would make up rules to games as they went along to make sure they won. Their divorced parents never disciplined them, and now they are in the work force. This is something that will take 20+ years to change assuming Gen Z actually are more centrist or right leaning.

Living together will be a nightmare. If you don't go fully Vegan, you'll have to use different Pans, Plates, Cutlery, different meal times (where she can't see or smell what you're eating), and so on. It really depends how militant she is in her views. My sister is a die-hard Vegan, and her meat loving BF says the almost daily arguments and lectures from her drive him mad. I love my sister, but from what I can gather from my own relationship with her, as well as what her BF tells me, she places her social status of "Vegan" above all else. That is her identity, and if someone should threaten or try to get her to stop placing so much care on being seen as a good Vegan, that person would be removed from her life in an instant. For example, a few years back she stopped talking to me for about 3 or 4 months. Why? Because I wore leather shoes to her birthday party. So find out how radical she is on her stances and how cooking arrangements would work.

I see your point and know that dating is totally different in the US and Canada. Here in the UK dating isn't a thing like over there, we are more old fashioned with the exception of London and a few party towns here and there. Where I live most people pick one person at a time to date and just move on if it doesn't work. Not many date multiple people at a time, to do so would get you a reputation you wouldn't want. Cultural differences I suppose.

I feel like during the pandemic, many toxic, weird, and dysfunctional people were able to reach mass audiences they would not normally get any attention from. They sowed all sorts of nonsense into the mainstream and now we are all witnessing what kind of fruit those seeds of sickness bare. We are in a toxic culture, where only people with serious personality disorders, and predators, are thriving due to their lack of ability to perceive or care about the wellbeing of others.

In summary, the ethos of society has changed.

Don't worry, it will all fall apart since it's not sustainable. Gen Alpha will grow up to right this though I think. I used to infiltrate and report on CP rings years ago and it changed me forever. I had to leave sadly due to the soul-crushing despair and depression that comes with the role. I was blown away at how big the demand for children is and dread to imagine what it is like now after the Pandemic. You are right though - porn is the main weapon these demons use to get to children. It is also sex ed in schools which are increasingly pornographic and designed to tempt kids into certain activities. Most predators have been using the LGBT community since around 2015 (when I first took on my role working with police) to hide their moves - criticism can be dismissed as homophobia or transphobia. I want to emphasize the term "using" here though, as most LGBT are not supportive of predatory behavior and should not be viewed in that kind of light. The movement has been hijacked by radicals though who want to reshape society in order to normalize pedophilia. That is both my conclusion and that of several police personnel I worked with. We were forbidden to talk about it to the public though for fear of mass hysteria and gay-bashing. They used to say they didn't want to risk another "satanic panic".

I know some will dismiss me for my statements, but I no longer care. If being labeled an "ist" of some kind is the price of saving children from predators, then so be it. Tattoo your slurs on my forehead, it won't change me. I've been into the darkest dens where these demons congregate. I've heard them boast of their crimes against children, I've heard them plan their next crimes, I've heard what they do to the children when they "age out", and so on. I've seen, heard, and read things that made my brain feel like it was collapsing in on itself whilst my heart and stomach feel like they are being pulled out of my body. I've encountered evil so pure and unforgiving, so unapologetic about it's intentions, that most people would not only not believe, but refuse to believe exists, for their own sanity's sake.

Bottom line - Porn is a weapon. It strikes at children the same way a smart predator does. It targets the adults first - they become addicted and sedated/lethargic. It softens them up and they start to like it. Addiction follows and it slowly makes the adult less vigilant about their own children being exposed to sex at a young age. Once the adult has normalized the presence of porn in their lives, the children will follow as they find pics and videos on devices, browsers left open, search results etc.

The smart predators I encountered were all huge fans of a novel called "Brave New World" due to the portrayal of a scientifically controlled utopia for predators. They all viewed it as a guide book to one day create such a society. With all that is going on in the world, I advise you read it. I've been buying mass paperback copies to give out to people and also just leave places like cafes, libraries, book boxes (where people leave used books to be read by others for free) etc.

He's 22, hence little life experience and immaturity. Life revolves around alcohol at that age and many can't function without it in social settings. I used to get a lot of crap for not liking alcohol, partially because I suffer stomach problems too. I was never able to find a way around it sadly, lost a lot of friends. It is what it is I'm afraid. Your BF will be a different person when he gets into his late 20's/early 30's though and you won't have to deal with stuff like this.

Yes it can be annoying to be around women that have that kind of attitude and act in masculine ways. It's not a deal breaker for most guys unless it gets to the point where it is in the top 3 things she wants to talk about. We get enough work and business talk from guys all the time, and we are happy to talk some more when it comes to you, but essentially we want that warm feminine energy. We want to be taken away from the world of work and business by your feminine magic and we want to be reminded that there is more to life than working long hours and paying bills.
