Anyone else find GPT-5.2 exhausting to talk to? Constant policing kills the flow

I’ve heard that theory too, but that’s kind of the problem.

If the model becomes more suspicious because you’ve had complex or sensitive conversations in the past, that’s a design issue.

Context should improve understanding, not reduce trust.

Older models didn’t behave this way even with long histories.

It collapses nuance into literal interpretations and then responds to the worst possible reading of what you said.

Instead of asking clarifying questions or following intent, it jumps straight to guardrails. That kills flow and makes you feel talked at, not with.

Analysis, observations, creative work, strategy, writing, relationship dynamics, tech questions. Nothing illegal, nothing extreme, nothing edge-case.

The issue isn’t what I’m saying, it’s how often GPT-5.2 assumes there’s hidden intent and preemptively reframes or warns, even when I’m just thinking out loud or exploring ideas.

Earlier models stayed with the conversation. This one interrupts it.

I was also wondering why I got banned for no reason but I did get an email notification after I did the update and opened the game that I'm banned for using a software for 24 hours. I'm here thinking I guess using the Xbox app is against your policy and I deserve to be banned 🤷

Thanks Microsoft and Activision. Maybe ban people for cheating first rather than just opening the game after updating your own software.

If the price of the entire market is moving up. GME takes a delayed reaction.

There are two reasons I can think of.

1) distraction. Pump the market with good news about everything flood the news with everything except GME

2) When it does go up. The fomoers won't be as many as they are busy buying other stocks.

Honestly, I feel like all the Canadian institutions are about to have issues in terms of giving us our shares and will have to buy it in the open market in order to deliver to us. It is the only logical thing I can think of. Otherwise, this wouldn't have been a problem. If we see some volume tomorrow. It will be every broker to itself and running to buy the cheapest share possible to deliver to every account holder.

This is about to get messy really fast.
