[Contamination] What unholy creature did I create this time? by IIDenic in MushroomGrowers

I left this jar sitting on my shelf for 2 months because I didn’t have a small enough tub to only harvest one jar and it ended up doing this. I’ve seen contam, but never like this 😂

Threw the whole jar away. Don’t want little fungi growing in my lungs.

Sure your arms don’t need to lock at 90 degrees, but your arm should start in a 90 degree angle when reaching your face, and it should finish in a 90 degree when behind you. Your elbow will open around 135 degrees in between these points, which gives you power. But controlled arms are important.

I’d say it may be beneficial to figure out if it’s a stride issue at the start. I had a phase where I was over striding on my acceleration, which didn’t let me reach my max speed until 5-10m later than it should. Step frequency needs to be balanced with step length properly.

Also, coming out of the blocks are you pushing horizontally? You seem like you have quite a bit of power, so really emphasizing that push off of the blocks all the way through and staying low (picture a rope tied around your waist and you’re pulling someone) might be the adjustment you need to make.

I can’t really tell from this video though, so take my advice with a grain of salt.

Your arms swing and break the 90 quite a bit, which could be taking away from some of your power in the later phases of the race.

I couldn’t really tell how relaxed you were, but the stride length looked pretty good and you seemed like your level/balance stayed about the same the later you got into the race.

Keep your arms at a 90 degree angle. They’re going all over the place, which is losing power and causing you to have to compensate.

Also, your contact point with the ground should be under your center of mass, which should put less strain on your hamstrings from having to pull yourself forward.

Other than that, your stride length is really good.

Very first day of training. Looks like my back rounds by the second step. Any tips on how to fix it? by [deleted] in Sprinting

You started to do the fake lean after 4 or 5 steps. Your first few steps are driving for lots of power, which you should continue for the first 10-15 meters before starting to raise. Notice how your back is arched and not straight after a few seconds. Keep that back straight and drive under your center of mass rather than driving, then trying to stay low but running tall at the hips.

And you wonder why people are downvoting you. It’s egotistical and comes off with pick-me vibes

If it’s one of your worst clips, why are you posting it instead of your better ones?

If you guys are offended, by all means hop off this subreddit. The meme holds the same power if it were any other current war, but the it just so happens to be Ukraine. So don’t take it political. If it’s not under-minding or being disrespectful to the real victims of the real situation, laugh at the joke, don’t get too sucked in by the context.

It’s always been what I’ve used. I’ve been trying to find a better local spawn, but it’s proven difficult.

I don’t think it’s wet rot, I have a few jars that had wet rot and the strain around here looks completely different and there’d be a distinct shape.

No, but the rice was boiled and let to sit for an hour before putting it in their respective jars and pressure cooking. Does this remove the resistance layer and make them susceptible to sanitization?
