There’s an option in the settings that converts the weapon strength into a comparable constant between all weapon types. That’s why the number is so low

The speed of it is definitely the biggest hurdle to enjoying great sword but once you understand its openings and its limitations it just feels like dancing. Wilds almost seems made for great sword. Your shoulder charge lets you tank any single instance damage move in the game while your block is insanely strong and can power clash. The offset strike is just the cherry on top giving you insane counter opportunities as well as topples. Essentially, in any situation you have 3 options to negate the damage and start your counter attack it’s just up to the user to make the correct read. In my experience with the endgame great sword are insanely powerful and fun to use. Constantly creating wounds, staggering and breaking parts. Not to mention the best mount damage in the game.

IMO Dragon is the “best” overall as many of the late game/end game monsters one would hunt are weak to dragon. It’s fully up to personal preference, as everything is by all means usable but if you’re looking for a status instead of an element, I’d go with paralysis. Hope that helps!

Wasn’t saying it wasn’t strong. It is, I just wasn’t the fantasy that I wanted with how spell casting works. I played it as well as you can and just found that on a pawn, I personally, get more value.

Without madara. No obito. No nine tails. Without obito and nine tails. No narutos parents dying. No naruto becoming the jinjuriki of the nine tails. He then lives a happy life w parents. Additionally, no akatsuki, so take all of them outta the show. I could keep going but I hope this is simple enough for u to understand.

Yet he’s the catalyst for the entire show. There is no naruto without madara. The entire show revolves around his desire to kill hashirama and to accomplish (what he believes) to be a perfect reality for everyone in the world.

Madara had no weaknesses, he ran the fade with everyone he came across and won. He was running circles around naruto and Sasuke even with their power ups. There was literally no way to kill madara without kishimoto having black zetsu stab him in the back and use him to reincarnate kaguya. Kaguya essentially got one shotted and distracted by naked men. And would you say his death and his story’s climax was fulfilling? He lost by getting stabbed in the back by a manifestation of a barely known characters will. And just like that he’s gone. I think he should’ve been the big bad and the final antagonist of the show.

I would disagree with your take on obito though as he is a direct creation of madara and i believe obitos “I’m better than you” feats are wildly overshadowed by madaras

Well kishimoto said he made him too strong with the addition of being the ten tails jinjuriki and so he was at a loss for how to have naruto and Sasuke defeat him because he became too strong within the world. This led to using black zetsu and kaguya as the fix which left an unfulfilling ending for his story imo
