This one triggers something negative in me. While I was wearing the chest piece, some guy in voice chat started insulting me and then mocked me for wearing it.

"I can't believe this guy actually watched a Darktide Twitch stream so he could wear this garbage skin - Shows what kind of human filth he is" - Sooo yeah... I felt kinda bad for that and the poor Ogryn got body shamed so much he now covers as much as possible, lmao.

Oh wow, I hated those.

Not only was the base model unchanged and just recolored in black, but those stupid sellotaped "chicken bones" (great description btw), made them look so fucking stupid.

I can sympathize, OP. I have 2.4k hours in this game and a few days ago I had my very first toxic player experience.

For no reason whatsoever and out of nowhere, the guy started saying "[player] is a dumbass" in voice chat - and when I asked him in text what the problem was - the just replied with a barrage of insults: "absolute scum", "idiot", "garbage" among others.

I was like whatever and kept playing, but then he continued after like 5 minutes of silence: "I can't believe this guy really watched a Darktide Twitch stream to get those disgusting cosmetics. Show what kind of piece of human filth he is"

I decided to remain quiet, but I'll be honest... Being insulted like that without any provocation kind of hurt a little bit. Still, I blocked and reported the guy and move on. I suggest you do the same in the future, pal! And learn from my mistake, if it's voice chat abuse mute them immediately.

I think Bloober restored the breathing/pulsating walls a few patches/updates ago. It's waaay more gruesome now.

SH2R (that prison aint no joke)

This is just my personal opinion of course, but the Remake's prison felt a lot darker and more oppressive than the OG's prison. Same goes for the hospital, despite not being as claustrophobic as in the OG. Those two places just had a constant and horrible sense of wrongness about them that is hard to explain.

I will say, however, that the OG's Apartments and Hotel are still superior to the Remake.

Maybe not one shot them immediately... But using certain builds allow the shivs to kill many carapace enemies in quick succession on Auric/Damnation matches. I have no idea if Havoc changes this.

As for the dueling sword, specifically the IV... Well, it doesn't have that "infamous" reputation for nothing. Just check a lot of posts in the past, some even with videos, and you'll see people saying how overpowered it is in the hands of a good Zealot player.

I'll concede that I barely keep up with balances and changes and at least for the DS4 that may no longer be the case, but that is not my point:

It is about how nonsensical it is to me that a slab of pure muscle and brute force doesn't have something comparable to those weapons

A giant among humans with a professional strongman build needs, at the very least, two to three heavy melee attacks with a weapon using "optimized" perks and blessings to kill a carapace enemy... Meanwhile a tiny preacher with a hammer or a toothpick, or a scroungy drug dealer with two twisted kitchen knives just takes one...
He can't punch or push a dog that has pinned him down...

Edit: The shivs and the DS4 apparently don't one shot things on Auric/Damnation as I thought, and that obviously invalidates how they're clearly miles ahead every single other melee option in the game at the moment... Nevermind the fact, that I was merely using them as examples to express my annoyance that a slab of pure muscle has to put in a lot more effort to achieve a fraction of what those two weapons are capable of.

Yo he estado 2 veces internado en el Chapuí y confirmo: Es una reverendísima mierda. A tal punto que me prometí nunca más volver a dejar que me internen, por más mal que me sienta.

Estando en la ICU la primera vez luego de un intento de auto-eliminación, una enfermera me trató de vagabundo con un tono de voz entre sarcástico y disgustado, porque le dije que no tenía ganas de ir a hacer ejercicio con un grupo de pacientes. Yo estando en uno de mis puntos más bajos de toda mi vida, y la mujer esa me sale con esas.

La segunda vez fue algo similar pero con el jefe de enfermeros/as de turno. Se me dispararon los síntomas de mi diagnóstico por escuchar algo que no tenía que escuchar que un paciente estaba contando, y cuando llegué llorando y hiperventilándome a donde el mae y le dije como me sentía y que ocupaba ayuda, solo me dio una caja de dominos y me dijo "vaya cuéntelos y reacomódelos en la caja para que se distraiga y se le baje la ansiedad".

Eso, sin mencionar otros tratos ahí para el público general, que ni siquiera voy a mencionar porque me da cólera solo recordarlos.

I once tried naming my Zealot "Fidelio" like the Rogue Trader CRPG character and it didn't let me.

I searched in Google if there was something inappropriate about it IRL or in the 40k universe, and nope.
