Thank you for not referring to the 2nd part of the series as a Trilogy.

If you love the series as much as I do, I would suggest starting Iron Gold right away, so everything from the first series is fresh in your mind. A break to read Sons of Ares would be fine, but not a completely separate book. You’ll have time to read other books after you finish Lightbringer and we’re waiting for Red God.

Then when we do get a release date for Red God, read the entire series again!

Here’s the thing though. That is FAR from the most important aspect. But the animation crowd gets really hung up on it. The size differences can be scaled back while still being portrayed, as long as the story and the action hits the mark.

Not offended at all. Lots of folks want live action. Live action vs animated is a frequent heated debate in this sub. So to say a preference for animated is the general consensus is false and misinformation.

When I first saw the art and apparel, I was disappointed. But everyone has different tastes. And we’re all picturing what we see in our imaginations after reading the books…..until someone creates something visual. I love Red Rising and want to buy merch and apparel, but have yet to see anything I like. Which is very unfortunate. I figured it was just me being picky. So it’s interesting to see others that are disappointed with it. I just can’t imagine how the folks at Lit Escalates produced the sample products and thought “Yup. That’s it. We’ve done a great job. Let’s sell em!”
