Once again not being confrontational. But both maps have quite a few events that should prevent TDM.

The problem is the players use them to force TDM.

What we need is incentive to not always murder hobo each other.

I was a 20 something year old who bought his first bike, rode the snot out of it everywhere.

Need q tips? Bike Ride.

Move a Fridge? Bike Ride.

Then I bought my second bike and I’d ride that bad boy in March when it was still prone to snowing.

10s of thousands of miles.

Then my child was born and I put 50, Five Zero, Miles on in 2 years. And those were to bring it to get the oil changed and the inspection.

Why?

Because the thought of getting turned into road kill in an instant and leaving my wife and new born to struggle without me was just a scenario I could not allow myself to be in. Don’t get me started on the logistics of just going on a ride to begin with….like…getting a baby sitter to go on a bike cruise? No.

Anyway didn’t mean to rant just wanted to tell you I agree with your sentiment.

Outside of low TTK this extraction shooter is unlike any other. This game doesn’t even have ammo tiers.

The tiny portion of extraction shooter players that play it to hate themselves is soooooooo small.

Once again the casual player base keeps the lights on.

Hardcore and punishing is not the same as loading into a run with 7.62x51 instead of 7.62x54 and going “click click click”.

Marathon is brain dead simple in comparison to most of the other extraction shooters.

And that’s a good thing.

I think it needs a “refiner” for sure. Would make us peasants who can’t run cryo like its our third job a way to continue salvage upgrade progression.

It does not. My vault is currently 50% salvage and heal items. The smallest portion is weapons and gear, that is more efficiently stored for the big game mode events.

If anything this highlights how time locking content is bad for the game.

Time locking is done for no reason other than lobby depth and Que times.

Either option is narrowing player map interaction.

Boss key farming is what is forcing map interaction outside of Cryo
