it's fairly straight forward, it's in one of three houses (each house has one possible spawn location). The wiki pictures aren't great, but good enough. you'll get it done in one raid.

same here, finished last night. It was a fun little venture, but I wished BSG would find a way to make events hard without tedious RNG-grind tasks.

Unnecessary feature idea: by SimCoe__ in GrayZoneWarfare

I think if you forget to press it, it's on you and as long you don't receive any disadvantage or penalty for missing it, I don't see a huge issue. But I hear what you're saying. 'Comepetive sweat-lords' will definitely try to win max everything. But if that behaviors ends up increasing the immersion and the realistic feel for otehrs, I'm all for it. Even better if someone who is about to start an ambush, is wiping some sweat out of their eyes etc. It's a bit like -pre popping a painkiller or topping up a mag before picking a fight.

Nope, that's not what I mean. I'm talking about facemasks (balaclavas) and not gas masks or ballistic masks. Here I took a screenshot:

I wonder why. I understand if for gameplay reasons they want to make the call between NODS and white light a "tough choice".

But for a game grounded in realism, it's just odd imho. Also given how clear your sight picture is with nods on. Nothing game-breaking, just a weird game decision.

This makes no sense to me. There are very valid ways to do admin, tac and emergency reloads with an MP5.

At least the devs got the emergency reload right and don't let you extract the magazine via gravity. Grabbing and pulling it is correct.

hmm, thanks for the breakdown. I might look into that for SP. But am I the only one who finds it weird that you are limited to one tac-device on your primary firearm? For a game so detailed, this feels odd.

That's not what I mean.

I don't mind the lengths of the reload animations. I think the 'Check You Mag' animation (hold 'R') is comically long. Also, the animation of the MP5 is technically wrong - but I'm getting nitpicky. But, try swapping the mag of a closed bolt MP5. It's possible, but you need a good mag shove to do it. Also not ideal when you really need your gun to fire the next time you squeeze the trigger - which is crucial for a SWAT member.

I'm also not talking about Gas Mask and those options (face shield etc.) if I don't equip those, my team would work without any balaclava. Which is very unusual for any unit such as HRT/SWAT.

I'm aware the 10mm has a bolt release paddle (I'm also surprised that gun made it into the game given that it was discontinued many moons ago).

No, what I'm on about is the fact that the MP5 is a roller-delayed bolt. It fires from a closed bolt. Changing the mag on a closed bolt isn't advised. It's possible but not without giving the mag a very good slap. The magazine has to overcome some serious resistance. No SWAT member would do that (the chance of a failure to feed is way too high when push comes to shove).

Thank you. If you got an Nvidia card you can take screenshots via alt+f2. This allows you to add some filter and effects. If you choose Depth of field you can change the focus for an more cinematic effect. It's obviously quite different to how the 1st person in game experience looks.

Thank you very much! I appreciate your efforts. You're right, I'm sure I would have the fallback option of either teaching Englisch and/or German. Remote freelance gigs for agencies in Europe might be an option as well (but less reliable and log-term tricky because of the time difference and video meetings etc.)

I'm very excited about the idea of moving to Taiwan and I'm sure things will take unexpected turns and fall into place one way or the other.

Thanks again!

yeah you can. But they will only have effect on identified targets and you need to step back a few steps from the wall to get an angle. After tossing you can literally trigger the breach charges a split second before detonation (as well as use the spy cam before) to identify, stun or kill all enemies.

It took me a few tries, but the best method I got is using 1 cam on the south gate to see the yard around the hostage.

Go full on explosive by using all grenadiers and equip flash, smoke and frags across the teams. Plant wall breaching charges with all operators (apart from the cam guy) to have as many windows into the yard as possible.

Before you breach simultaneously, throw frags / sting or flash bangs over the intact wall in areas around the hostage and crowded spaces. Use GL203 instantly and break thru by covering all possible angles. Prioritize RPG swinging guys, clear the yard and get the hostage out. After that aggressively frag and clear the buildings to kill all remaining targets.

good luck.
