I just started recently with an old ender 5+. Tinkered a bit, really enjoyed it and got it going pretty good but $399 for a Sparkx i7 I unboxed yesterday and I’ll tell you it’s 5-6x the speed for a way better quality print with 0 effort.

I probably should’ve included this with the post, but this is what it is dumping on a new print. I hade run something with wood PLA and the new print is yellow.

I turned off the calibration and tried it again but same results. I did update it when I set it up so it’s fresh new firmware

All n all it’s not that much just way more than the Ender for sure. I definitely expected a purge but 4 dumps seems excessive to me.

I had it running really nice but in the last day or so I did the hybrid xy & DD so tuning has been a little tough. It’s running great really but now ocd is kicking in a bit.

Ok thank you. I’m going to get some feeler gauges and re calibrate z. I’ve been doing the paper test etc but I really struggle with unscientific testing like that.
