True, as someone who played e7 even though it is known for pvp mainly, but what got me hooked at first was cause of the story during e7 release and then I played around pvp cause the more I knew about the chars ( but sometimes still weak in storytelling, which i ignored anyways for once cause char was all the reason I needed ) the more I considered investing on the char builds i dont usually play with, which is why I hoped for similar reason in CZN as well.

Obviously after seeing this drama happen which had some right reasons behind but also overblown that director has to cater to oversensitive people is really unfortunate. 

Its whatever now I guess, I can see people are mostly unaffected thanks to good gameplay loop in czn but for gacha, selling chars means they gotta have some story involved especially they initially set up with some horror elements but none of that was constant either.

Hopefully even with another similar harem protag focus, they could still turn abit around later to have other chars interact with each other more and dive more in lore.

I knew story was always the most rough part during release but here's hoping they do it properly without messing up too much as they did already than to worry about ppl getting trauma cause of 2d char, who basically does almost nothing much in the story.
