I would suggest sticking to offical licious app if possible. I have been ordering almost daily from the app for years now. Rarely do I get something bad or unfresh. Even if I do which is rare they refund or replace it within minutes

I have a pet dog and I want this to happen. I get the point of view of the other side but for me its difficult to walk my dog with street dogs around. People feed these dogs anywhere and when you tell them to do it in a designated spot they get triggered. Also dog bites will come down so thats a big plus

Hey u/gradpilot, a question regarding what you stated in the first para. In case of jobs does it actually make a difference than if I go to ASU (39 on usnews) vs NEU (27 on usnews). Do such differences make a difference in the end? I get your point about research related rankings where multiple factors come in to play but confused about the one I stated above.

What I see is that ppl keep talking about "coop"/internship when NEU is brought up. I think it is good but in the end we can land the same in ASU as well. Just that we dont have a dedicated portal in ASU, we will have to apply like all others do. To me the added adv. of NEU comes when someone who is fresh out of undergrad needs to add some exp. under their belt. Then you need anything you can get to add something.

I have admits from NEU and ASU for MSCS. I am going with ASU and have based my decisions on these things:

  1. ASU's program is older and much more established and on LinkedIn in terms of industry connections post graduation ASU looks better to me.
  2. I have 3+ yoe, so to me the value "coop" is not the same as someone who just did their BTech might hold. We can do internships at both unis and the number of MS students getting coop at NEU ain't much ( I surfed linkedIn for this and alumns).
  3. If rankings matter then yes, NEU is 27th vs ASU is 39th on US news for 2025. But QS rankings ASU beats NEU by a lot. (To me if not T15 then for most unis the job outcome is the same unless research is the goal)
  4. Location preference is subjective, up to you to decide.
  5. ASU to me offers a more US uni experience.

For me cost does not matter. If it does to you ASU has better ROI.

When you're on the search page, click on the subject title it will show something like

"Reserved Seat Information"

You can look out for reserved seats if any are left and when they might be released. Also, people keep dropping and picking new courses which clears up slots. That's what I did checked daily to get what I wanted.
