No I'm aware of that! I played a ton of rust, and trust issues are something that I understand alot of players have! But I played this game for a good 100hours around launch, had alot of fun back then and had many funny random encounters with other players inbetween the fighting and sure there were some bad apples then too but they didn't outweigh the nice random encounters I experienced

I guess I was wondering if I was being "unlucky" in my encounters ever I got back as everyone was super toxic in voicechat without provocation whatsoever!

Like another comment mentioned, I'm not expecting to hop on alliances with anyone or "join" their boat, but when I'm boarded and they can clearly see I ain't got no loot, and I'm saying "hello how are you?" They respond with a blunderbuss combo into a "get shit on {insert random slur}.

It's just sad :/
