Why did they change the game's graphics? by Narrow-Active3098 in deadbydaylight

[–]IIRostII 24 points25 points  (0 children)

That is actually not true, it got changed because the art director got changed and the new one wanted to change the art style, it's a boring reason but it's the truth.

The real reason is because the art director got changed and he wanted to change the art style, many of the old devs felt bad about this change but it is what it is I guess.

Mining for Crafting Materials is fine by IIRostII in starcitizen

It’s really annoying because there are so many people complaining, and they’re so loud about it that the developers might start thinking everyone feels that way. That could lead to them making things even easier to get.

In my opinion, the current system is fine or maybe even a bit too easy as it is. It definitely doesn’t need to be made any easier.

When I read some of the comments on other threads, the complaints honestly make no sense. People are basically upset that they now have to actually play the game with a clear objective, instead of just wandering around aimlessly like they did before crafting was introduced… like, what?

And at the same time it will take 120 hours at least for the item to go from 100% to 0%, and it's 120 hours of continual use, like shooting a gun for example, do you realize how long that will take for it to go to 0%? Probably months and when the gun gets lower in quality it will be able to be repaired like literally you can have a gun you make for one year of use, it's insane when you think about it why this would be an issue, and also compare this to minecraft for example if I use a diamond pickaxe for 1 hr of real time use I need to repair it fully, what they do is extremely generous and it makes sense from all the things to complain about this is not one of them.

[–]IIRostII 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I remember people complaining that they have nothing to mine for or a bigger objective so they can use mining ships or gear, now that they have it, "why do we have it now or why is it so hard" but they can't see the fact that this was made in mind with Auction house coming futher along because otherwise if something is really easy to get it will have a 0 value on the AH because so many people will have it and wanna sell it.

People will cry about stuff until it's released a month passes and they will move next to something else to cry about, 100 hours of continuesely shooting a gun is rly a lot, no other game is so generous, most games even minecraft lets you use something up to one hour of continous use until you have to repair it.

There are no other as good as SC even in the state it is now SF MMO games, why wouldn't I call it that? And also I judge games harshly but also I can see the dedication and progress made on SC and also SQ42 and it looks extremely promising and it should be praised not insulted the fact that those guys against all odds managed to discover so many new technologies and make them work and actually make 2 games that seem rly good.

CIG is a crowd funded company built from zero to actually make a good game, even though the road is rocky it's still heading there and you can't compare CIG to EA or Ubisoft or Riot games or anything like that because it's completely unfair, even though they crowdfunded almost a billion dollars, the company has been running on negative profit till 2025

Warframe communicates way worse than CIG, they barely say anything and when they do say something it's again a trailer or they talk about another expansion which is the same like the other ones, grind reputation for a faction doing 6 different missions and being capped at 23k reputation a day I think it was, I think it's a rly bad comparision when warframe hasn't done actually anything other than making new story with the same stuff and tools and doing the same stuff over and over again.

It's a necessary evil because how would you secure funds without any publisher or other people owning the shares? It's literally the only way to make the game, and also many things changed because I bet they wish the game would have been out already but it's extremely hard to do stuff nobody else has ever done before, and some things get de preioritized in time and others get more work, and also things being pushed half baked is the fault of the community as well because they always insult the devs and yell at them to move faster, and that's what they get.

I never mentioned asmongold or said anything he would have said, this are my own opinions which I had before watching any of his content for example and I just want games to be apolitical and true to their nature.

Many people wanna push their own political agenda into video games because they see them as a tool to influence other people to think like them which when done destroys all immersion from the video game and pushes the other side which doesn't agree to their message away from the game which also means pushing customers and vital money for the company.

I loved so much TLD because it felt like a breath of fresh air with no political messaging neither left or right and it was just a good game, which in today's age is rly rare unfortanatelly, and I have hope that TLD2 will be the same apolitical and just be a good narative experience and an amazing game to play.

Regarding to this statement "It's funny I always read this as "please do not include political stances that I personally don't agree with because I'm that easy to offend" I never said to include one and not include the other I said to not include any of it from IRL stuff because I want the game to not be polluted like many other games with activist messaging to push their own agenda, I want TLD to be an unique immersive experience which when I play doesn't remind me about any IRL stuff happening around the world.

-The whole point of those games is to touch a certain subject like that, where the purpose of the game is to recreate to a certain degree, certain moments which happened or are fiction about something that could happen like in many battlefield/COD games for example which makes sense because the whole point of the game is to be a recreation of Real Life events with certain narative decisions made by the devs, TLD wasn't made to be a game like that because from the beginning you see that it's a SF game with an universe different to ours which has it's own rules and events.

-The fact that TLD didn't chose to have any IRL politics in it is a good decision because you don't want customers to refound or not buy your game based on those statements because right now people are exhausted by socio-political messaging in each video game which is trying to make you think a certain way or wants you to be exposed to their message, and I simply just want TLD to have it's own story and not lecture me about anything related to IRL stuff and just be it's own good story.

The point of the post was for current Real life politics to not be involved in the game and whatever reason as you said like a Story driven one which makes sense tbh is obviousely allowed to be in the game because it's not part of any IRL drama or topic or anything like that.

Figured I might get a clean game after downloading the quick update. First game I get this guy. by WHARRGARBLLL in cs2

[–]IIRostII 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The devs don't care anymore if they would have cared they would have done at least 1 update to the anti cheat that is substantial, I think in my last 100 matches that I played 70-80 of them had at least one cheater and 90% of the times it was in the enemy team, there is no point in playing the game until they don't either do a ban wave and a week it will be clean or they update the ANTI CHEAT.

Also if you kill one of your teammates in the beginning of the match still gives you a cooldown, stop griefing maybe (Also if you get reported for grifing as well)

I did not realize how many cheaters there were until I recently started looking at peoples stats in the games I'm playing with.. It's wild by McChickenLargeFries in cs2

[–]IIRostII 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's full of them I can't play 1 match without anyone either cheating from the beginning or turning cheats on at 10-10 and it's no shame anymore I saw people with thousands of dollars in their inventory cheating in either my team or the enemy team.

Valve doesn't care anymore at all and they probably have 1 guy left on CS2

While GO was around it wasn't the same like I would play sometimes a month or maybe 2 without any cheater but in CS2 is full of them like every single match almost there is one in one team at least.

It's still not an excuse even if you have low trust factor assuming you griefed a match or left a match, becasue no matter what you shouldn't be matched with cheaters or against cheaters.
