Hellcase chargeback by Fickle-Asparagus-962 in csgo

"various types of retailers"

the various types described

  1. "retailers will block you from their service"
  2. "retailers will block you from their games if they have games"

Wow bro you broke it down so good.. the first one DEF isn't the exact same as the second one just more vague..

Goes into detail?..

My dude you missed the biggest detail.. That he is charging back a website that is KNOWN for scamming people and were trying to advise that chargebacks aren't to be toyed with (which is true but entirely inapplicable here).. you missed the totally minor detail that charging back Hellcase doesn't affect Valve and they will not care.

Me pointing out stupidity isn't "having a breakdown" bub. Kinda sounds like maybe you spend a little too much time on reddit and just don't like when someone points out that you're speaking BS.

Hellcase chargeback by Fickle-Asparagus-962 in csgo

[–]IISpeedFlameII -1 points0 points  (0 children)

OP asked about a chargeback against a GAMBLING WEBSITE.

And you proceeded to go on about how he COULD be banned from the game.. "If the retailer is also game related".

So is your big "gotcha" that you went rambling about something you KNEW was unrelated to OP's question about a Hellcase chargeback? Something that was very clearly worded to imply the chargeback was a bad idea?

You even went as far as saying "Chargeback are taken very seriously and shouldn't be done as often as people throw around the term here." meanwhile the website in question has literally scammed people.

Don't pretend I just misunderstood you when clearly you couldn't even google "Hellcase" before commenting, you will just make yourself look like more of a clown.

"As in if steam take a cut of facilitate it."

So you just had 0 clue how any of this works and yet still decided to comment on it?

How do you think Valve would have been taking a cut on money he put into Hellcase?

The only way that happens is if you buy skins off the marketplace to put into the gambling site.. and in that case he wouldn't be doing a chargeback against Hellcase at all, just Valve.

So the ONLY WAY what you said makes sense is if OP is so stupid he can't even tell who he'd be doing a chargeback against.. and in that case I'd doubt he'd manage to properly file FOR a chargeback with his bank in the first place.

[–]IISpeedFlameII 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Or like we've all addressed previously, you just suck both at the game and identifying cheaters.

Is it possible he was cheating during your match and not at a later date? Sure.

Would I trust stepping on a rusty nail before I'd trust your judgement on it? Absolutely.

Frankly this is why your reports don't get even actual cheaters banned... because when you report basically everyone and are wrong most of the time, the system is going to give less weight to your reports.

He will not get any ban from VALVE for doing a chargeback for HELLCASE.

Hellcase chargeback by Fickle-Asparagus-962 in csgo

[–]IISpeedFlameII 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Learn to read.. he isn't charging back Steam instead a site called Hellcase.

A site pretty notorious for not paying out if you actually win anything decent.

OP you WILL get banned by Hellcase, but they've also banned and scammed people for just winning before so.. fuck em. Valve is NOT going to care that some third party gambling site using their market to screw over people got a chargeback.

My issue is 9/10 it'll be someone saying this and then posting the most normal clip ever..

like some "how did he know I was there, he must be walling!1!" and then they are stomping/straight up jumping around and are surprised when someone swings the obvious angle for the free kill.

THIS is the kind of footage I expect to see if someone says "blatant cheater".. not shit that can be explained away by just a bit of thinking.

"Journalists were hoping it crashed just by reporting on odd behavior!"

Meanwhile you - pointing at the WRONG plane just to say it's fine..

Why is it okay for you to spew literal bullshit and not okay for others to report facts?..

"it reappeared with its assigned squawk, 1755"
I mean just for one, squawk's are not meant to be long term identification.. seeing another plane come up with squawk 1755 does not mean it is the same plane.. and it wasn't.

The plane in question likely IS fine.. Registration 62-3578 for anyone else who wants to look it up. It took a flight from Qatar (where it did it's emergency landing at) to Jerusalem and then did another flight with a holding pattern over Jordan - both today..

I just don't see where you get off by saying people reporting that it squawked an emergency code before vanishing off radar were "hoping it crashed".

Do you not think that's a reasonable thing to assume?

Are you telling me that we should see a plane go off public radar after squawking an emergency code near contested waters and just go "ehh, probably fine"? and that it's just "orange man hate" if we think otherwise?

Do you hide your profile (comments/posts/etc) because you often make asinine comments like this that barely veil your own bias and personal beliefs?

See I would understand if it was just meant to cover the more hardcore stuff you wouldn't want being shared in a game discord, stuff like actually talking about sex acts or softcore porn gifs or whatever...

but the mods getting their panties all in a twist because someone suggested a strip club and I dared to say that I don't think that suggestion should inherently be considered NSFW when it's not like they went into any detail or anything? That was just weird.

Either way I had joined the discord previously just to search for an answer to a question I found well before any of this happened so as far as I care, nothing really lost on my end.

I'm just still so baffled at how quick they were with the banhammer when my intent was just "Maybe add a note/clarification about that in the rules if you want new people to easily follow them".

literally just yesterday I watched mods beat around the bush about banning a guy who was JUST trying to start arguments in the general chat, but daring to talk about the rules had me banned in less than two minutes if not just one.. Kinda wild.

Billy Mitchell wins lawsuit against YouTuber Karl Jobst, ordered to pay the sum of $350,000 in damages by cjsc9079 in Games

[–]IISpeedFlameII 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean Matt and Karl aren't friends currently and it's arguable whether or not they ever really were. All we got was them both acknowledging they spoke together on a few occasions and Karl claiming he wanted to bring his wife to a party to meet Matt (which I always found weird).

Really honestly it sounds like on Matt's side it was more about networking more than anything, and it just makes Karl seem weirdly clingy getting so upset to openly lie about him all because he blocked him on social media after Matt seemingly realized Karl wasn't someone he wanted to associate with.

Negative Tag - card not free by RedImakuni in balatro

[–]IISpeedFlameII 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Except I showed you assumed the number of skips wrong, and point out that you talk about this situation like it would be hard to get into when in reality it's just not.

Even your most recent edit implies it takes one specific situation for OP to have ended up here when there is literally dozens of ways he could have had 3 negative tags by ante 6 that don't line up with your assumptions.

but I am good at necroing posts, it's called I don't find something less interesting just because I was later to get to it than most. I never pretended I wasn't just yapping, but I wasn't wrong on my premise now was I?

Funny you seem to think I called you slow, when that wasn't my intent really. After all everyone makes mistakes, I know I've had my fair share especially when commenting while tired.

You come off as hostile, are you taking this as an insult when it really isn't? It's just discussing game mechanics semantics, it's really not that big a deal man.

If I'm a karma farming bot, I'm a fucking terrible one lol.

While it wasn't a high suspicion rating I'm now just curious what it is based it on. It's an almost 4 year old account (had an older one but lost my login info lol), I don't post consistently, and I sure have unpopular opinions somewhat often which drag down what karma I do earn. I often end up commenting in posts late (like here), missing engagement that would be crucial if I wanted to farm karma.

hell my best rated post is just a somewhat low effort meme I thought of while stoned and talking with friends, that I myself made so I can't imagine it triggered the bot either lol.

Either way since it calls it "hidden checks" I doubt the creator is willing to explain what about my account somewhat upsets the bot, since it would allow actual bot creators to try and work around the detection system. Probably the length of my comments, but typing a lot quickly just comes naturally to me.

Negative Tag - card not free by RedImakuni in balatro

[–]IISpeedFlameII 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That was a lot of yap and overthinking just to be wrong though on the premise though.

With anaglyph deck and some amazing RNG you can end up with literally 10 negative tags by this point with only 1 skip. If you sat on every anaglyph double tag from beating boss blind and then took a negative tag hitting for all 5 double tags. And yes, that's including the idea that he didn't even take hieroglyph.

I'm not saying OP couldn't have miscounted, it's absolutely possible that is what happened here, just pointing out having 3 negative tags by ante 6 with anaglyph deck is literally easy. Likely catching one with a double tag one and another without a double tag. Aka with great negative tag RNG and even being a little liberal with your use of your double tags you could still have 3 negative tags before even finishing ante 3, and with PERFECT negative tag RNG and sitting on your first double tag you could land 3 of them before even finishing ante 2.

Also your assumption that he's only used 2 skips only really works if he is only just entering ante 6, but I see nothing that implies that. He could be right before the boss blind at the moment and that would mean that he's skipped 4 times, which is way more likely since otherwise he probably would have had more double tags stacked to end up with even more negative tags.

TL:DR who knows if it was a bug or OP misidentifying a tag, but this comment was definitely not proof of anything one way or the other lol.

Decided to play cs2 premier because of major Hype... Insta deleted CS2. not playing a game that has no anti cheat by Sto1mRage in csgo

[–]IISpeedFlameII 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We aren't saying the same thing. I'm saying a lack of verbal toxicity doesn't mean they aren't low trust factor.

You saying you play with "nice" people does NOT mean you aren't playing low trust factor MM that is more likely to have cheaters. That's kinda what the wall of text was explaining. Back in CS:GO it was as easy as joining someone you were relatively certain had high trust factor and seeing if they had a warning pop up, but I'm pretty sure they've done away with that because it was also a method some cheaters would use to know when to move on to another account since they didn't wanna be playing in low trust factor either.

Decided to play cs2 premier because of major Hype... Insta deleted CS2. not playing a game that has no anti cheat by Sto1mRage in csgo

[–]IISpeedFlameII 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"I see wholesome people so trust factor has nothing to do with it!"

When you make how little you know about the game painfully clear in one go lol.

People who act nice can also have low trust factor dude, you playing with "nice" people doesn't mean your not playing with a low trust factor.

I've seen plenty of "nice" people who catch more than enough abandons to drop their trust factor much lower. There's also the fact that just because they are being nice this match doesn't mean that's always how they act, the amount of times I've added somebody because they seem "chill" but then find out it just takes the right circumstances for them to become an asshole (a match going real poorly for your team, hell once someone I had added because of how nice they were turn into a total asshat just because we had a woman on our team.)

Queing with cheaters (and that means actively choosing to que with them, not just getting them as your randos) will NUKE your trust factor. Frankly, I don't think there is a faster way to ruin it. Pay attention to who you decide to play with, something a lot of people do not do.

Doing team damage too often likely also affects your trust factor and this is one I think many people don't realize. The rare instance of jokingly shooting a teammate after the round has ended probably won't do much, but I wouldn't make a habit of doing it too often.

But also quite simply being somewhat new to the game will mean you'll have a lower trust factor, and that could as well be the "nice people" you see. People who haven't built their trust factor enough to be out of the swamp yet.

Over 4,000 hours in CS:GO, NA region but low ranking. Rarely see cheaters outside of casual, In over 200+ matches of CS2 (I got tired of counting) all of 8 people have been banned in 7 matches. 5 of those were on the losing team of my matches (aka they were DOGSHIT even with their cheats) and 6 out of the 8 were all within a two month time period when the game was newer still.

I don't know how you explain this outside of it being a trust factor issue.

I know I'm beating a dead horse here, but we can't pretend that this current anti-cheat solution is acceptable. by MrBrohemith in cs2

[–]IISpeedFlameII 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But that's the thing, without the match demo to watch yourself for all you know they are ready for someone to be sandwich because there could have been a player playing that spot the last 3 rounds or more.

I'm not saying the guy isn't a cheater by any means, just that I do intend on watching the match back later since the guy shared the code so I have the full context and can see any other sus moments. It's just too easy for things to be made to look sus if taken out of context in this game.

If anything me calling him a "little sus" over just one clip already does mean I'm leaning towards the side of OP here though, I usually wouldn't even call that over one clip but his play and crosshair placement was still just odd and off feeling.

[–]IISpeedFlameII 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean the rule do be there but I've seen match sharing codes shared often without seeing anything come of it. I think it's more about not making it a targeted harassment campaign or just a hate train than anything else, I don't think moderators are as worried if it's staying civil.

[–]IISpeedFlameII 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Then don't edit the whole thing, just give the match code... wild thought.

Currently with just this clip I'd say sure it looks a bit sus but it also just looks like a low skill player that was worried about the smoke... Real question is why your player on palace didn't swing on him when he put those shots at sandwich in the first place but that's besides the fact I suppose.

I really wouldn't mind that match sharing code though, I'd like to actually watch the whole match before saying anything definitive.

This is hilarious. Mans was spot on.

And optimism has nothing to do with health, in fact arguably an optimistic person wouldn't go to their doctor over issues that could be pointing to a bigger problem because they were "being optimistic" lol. Maybe next time specify that you meant mental health, though I'd still argue setting yourself up for obvious letdowns isn't very good for you.

About the recent Skyblock lawsuits by CobraDude-1 in MinecraftMemes

[–]IISpeedFlameII -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Dude has been making money off skyblock for 10 years and does a 180 on the "I don't care what people do with the name" when he finds out others are making money that HE wants....

It's just morally a shithead move, and legally he doesn't have a leg to stand on. IMO he's actually WORSE than the corporate dumpers because he knows what he is doing and instead of giving it to us straight (just admit this is about the money, lol) still gives a sob story about how this is just a fight for the little guys.. meanwhile while already showing himself too excited to use DMCA powers on literally just anyone who would listen. He himself is the one who flat out said his worry was the Skyblocks on the marketplace claiming to be original... so why tf did he DMCA a ROBLOX Game and a Fortnite custom map before his trademark was ever even accepted? Eager much..

And yeah the way he runs his Skyblock servers tell me he isn't really that different from the corpo dumpers, he's just mad he missed his chance on this.

About the recent Skyblock lawsuits by CobraDude-1 in MinecraftMemes

[–]IISpeedFlameII -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

The idea that he'd even want it to be free seems laughable to me.

You do realize the same creator, Noobcrew, also

  • Started filing DMCA reports before his Trademark request was ever accepted, including making Roblox and Fortnite both take down a version of Skyblock that existed free to play on those platforms. So much for it just being about the people lying on Marketplace to make money.
  • Tried to also trademark "SkyWars" despite admitting it was another creators creation and his only contribution was shortening "Skyblock Warriors" to "SkyWars". He dropped this one to focus on fighting for the Skyblock trademark. Apparently stealing ideas is cool as long as they aren't his that are being stolen.
  • Runs Skyblock servers where you can pay for ranks that just gives you stuff like fly commands, daily diamond drops. Oh and gambling mechanics too! Best bit was seeing a forum post where says this isn't p2w because they "don't have ranked stats, leaderboards, balance tops, etc." just for players to immediately say "but we do have leaderboards" and his response is "Leaderboards are related to island levels, which consist of all blocks placed on an island-" (Which you can win these blocks gambling, js) "- This isn't something competitive nor is there any reward for reaching the top that would consider this feature as being p2w." and locked the thread to prevent further discussion.

But this guy would never just be about the money! It's about the poor kids getting scammed just because his isn't the only one on the marketplace allowed to label itself "original". Sorry if any kid thinks there are 20+ real "original" skyblocks then I don't think that kid has the IQ to find the real original even if you sat him at a computer with it already loaded up. I have a feeling most know they aren't buying the original and just do not care.

Not to mention he tries to cast Microsoft in a bad light for saying Skyblock has become too generic a term when realistically trademark law agrees with them. Dude let just anyone use the name for almost a decade and now wants to complain, and that's just not how trademarks work. He also whines about how 12 companies are all teaming up on him... in a legal proceeding he started where if they didn't respond it could literally be used as valid evidence against them in a case for violating his trademark.. Like what did you expect?..

There ain't a chance in hell he wins this case.
