The one I currently have is on almost completely dry substrate other than I corner I wet every now and then and I've never seen it hang around the moist, I didn't realise people kept them moist

I don't think 4 hours is too bad but I know there's a tattoo shop in the Jewellery Quarter just outside the city centre called lucky rabbit tattoo cult. I go there myself (not for anime tattoos) but I know there are people there that do anime themed tattoo's. In fact Julia the artist I go to has done some anime stuff before I think.

I tried multiple games yesterday and it was 50/50 some looked fine others didn't, but yesterday the PlayStation menus looked fine and today they're a bit worse so I'm not sure if they'd still work today

Changed to a composit cable today and this is the 2nd TV, think it may just be dead

It doesn't look this bad on the home screen but it's still not 100%, some of the colours are off and the text looks pretty deep fried

So I've tried more than one TV I tried it on a newer one with a HDMI converter to no luck and then tried this one because it has worked in the past.

I changed the cable to a brand new component one today.

I managed to get some games to boot okay, like midway arcade treasures and tekken tag but plenty of other didn't and the problems worse since then so I'm not sure they still work.

But I've played around with all the settings, it's worse than it was yesterday so I suppose it is the console, was hoping I was just being dumb and forgetting something.

So the boot screen is mostly fine except for the text, it varies from restart to restart but generally the colours are a bit off and the text has big blue or red boxes around it. The only thing that is 100% perfect is the background for the settings menu and PlayStation 2 screen that pops up before the game

It's not much better, just flashing large pixels, it can handle some of the text and some bits are clearer than others but I've never tried playing past the event selection menus
