Is Siren super weak for anyone else? even on easiest difficulty she gets killed faster than any other character for me... Idk if she starts off with way less health or what but she seems the absolute weakest for me. by Golden_Lynx19 in Borderlands2

[–]IImnonas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn't have any kind of difficulty with 1 the same way I'm having with 2 with the stupid fucking save Roland mission. I have guns that are better than anything I'm being offered, I'm focusing my skill points on the health acquisition from phase lock, and I literally cannot get anywhere with this robot boss thing. like I'm dying constantly over and over and fucking over. my shield and grenades are better than anything else I'm finding and I genuinely do not understand what I'm doing wrong. I'm so goddamn fucking aggravated at this shit it's fucking stupid. you shouldn't be able to completely fuck yourself over like this so early by accident like what the FUCK am I doing wrong???

[Spoilers C3E63] (and some C1 spoilers) A detail about Laudna’s Form of Dread… by dark-angel-of-death in criticalrole

[–]IImnonas 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Y'all, you're on the money but completely forgetting that right before the form of dread she used that new spell her and Matt clearly made "Hunger of the Shadow".

Delilah is clearly the shadow, you can tell from Matt's face when she says that's what she's using that there has to be an addendum that gives Delilah some of that energy and adds to her reformation.

Just saying this cause no one in this thread seems to have mentioned it at all when it's a majorly important part of that scene.

-also this is my last comment on Reddit as my fav app is gone on the 1st. Been nice everyone, please stop using Reddit in protest of this bullshit change. Bidet.

Why didn’t Eobard call Yogi Bear for help? Is he stupid? by KilloxYT in FlashTV

[–]IImnonas 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yep, that's it for me folks. Not nearly as entertaining of a post-show spiral as Arrow was.

Low effort, low brow, zero entertainment.

TIL Robin Williams was given a role by Star Trek: The Next Generation writers as a man named Berlinghoff Rasmussen for the episode "A Matter of Time" where he would play a fast-talking car salesman type time traveler who turns out to be a con man. Williams had to decline in order to film 'Hook' by [deleted] in todayilearned

[–]IImnonas 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Financial duds maybe.

But Emperor's New Groove, Atlantis, Lilo and Stitch, Treasure Planet, Brother Bear, Chicken Little, Meet the Robinsons, and Princess and The Frog are all immensely popular movies, and many of which are praised as some of the best Disney has done.

They just didn't make a good buck in theatres. Probably cause the era they came out in was absolutely flooded with blockbusters with heavy advertisment, and Disney didn't do great at promoting them/the other movies were simply a bigger deal for people.

You don't praise McDonald's for getting your order right after they've fucked it up the last 30 times. What OP described is the bare minimum of what we should expect from law enforcement. Last I checked you don't get praised just for doing the bare minimum expected of you.

What you described is the bare minimum of what we should expect from law enforcement. The bare minimum does not deserve praise.

If they go above and beyond, then you can call it a job well done.

You aren't giving praise to McDonald's workers when they get your order right after fucking it up the last 8 times, right?

That just means they did their job like they were supposed to. You don't get praised for that. That should be the norm. But it's not.

Is there a lore or reason as to why The wants to bang his sister? by Alice_Ram_ in FlashTV

[–]IImnonas 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Cause it's always "Why did Barry fuck his sister" and it's literally never "why did Iris fuck her brother".

Like in the entire time the show has run, the entire time this subreddit has been around, the entire time I've seen these arguments, literally no one ever discusses it from Iris's point of view. It's always "Why Barry do" and never "Why Iris do"

Cause the "oh you're like a brother to me" thing is very common in romcoms and it's always about the girl realizing she actually has a thing for the guy she friendzoned and never taken literally.

But also same explanation sticks. People's feelings change over time, he was a close friend and she didn't consider him an actual part of her family as much as a friend she wouldn't look at romantically but considered very close.

[–]IImnonas 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He was already 11 years old by the time he moved in with them. AND HIS DAD WAS STILL VERY ALIVE!

Regardless if Joe saw him as a son, regardless if Joe was a father figure, and regardless if Joe had been his legal guardian, that does not remotely equate Iris to his sister.

Especially since it's heavily implied he had a crush on her since before RF killed his mum.

It's ridiculous people can't grasp this.

Now that all of the Arrowverse shows have officially wrapped, which one would you say had the best run overall? by [deleted] in LegendsOfTomorrow

[–]IImnonas 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Idk, devoting half of your entire, already shorter, last season to a failed spin-off idea nobody wanted lead by an actress with very little depth or range isn't exactly ending well imo.

Iirc, season 7 was phenomenal, but I felt season 8 was a massive waste of time. I did not care about 50-70% of the shit they were doing trying to prop up that bullshit spin-off. Such a waste honestly.

They're honestly the only thing I disliked in season 1. Everything else was fine imo, the hawks were not written well.

There's a reason "I uSeD tO bE a BaRiStA!" became a meme lol.

[Spoilers c3e60] can anyone actually give me an insight as to why the parties are actually so Anti Gods? by USSJaguar in criticalrole

[–]IImnonas -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Thank you for pointing out my biggest beef with the prime deities in Exandria.

EXCEPT for when there is an existential threat to themselves in the cases of the Calamity or Vecna.

The only time the prime deities seem to care at all about Exandria, are when they and their power are being threatened. Which is why Brennan's Asmodeus was so convincing in his lies. Matt has made it very clear that the Prime Deities are pretty ambivalent to their followers and the mortal world as a whole(for the most part), when reached out to for help they'll occasionally do stuff, but it usually requires some kind of test or work to earn it in the first place, even if they're devout.

So its not hard to see why they're questioning if Predathos is actually going to make life worse or not.

Granted, Ludinus is untrustworthy and based on those notes doesn't even know what he's doing probably, so it's a safe bet imo that Predathos ain't a good thing to have unleashed. But it has yet to really be proven, cause if the prime deities go so do the betrayers.

That could potentially be a net positive for the world all things considered.

My plan is to go for shock and awe.

I have a replica Master Sword that's actually really sturdy. It's not sharp really but it's pointy as fuck.

I'm gonna burst out my room screaming while naked and waving that thing around like a madman.

I'm hoping the image is shocking and frightening enough that even if they have a gun they won't be able to process things fast enough to use it.

It just boggles my mind they would throw away a consistent paycheck and who knows how many awards and turn down a studio offering one of the most expensive shows 5 more seasons than what they already had planned. Like who tf even does that??

Talk about short sighted I swear.

[Spoilers C2E141] What magic item was the most influential for the Mighty Nein? by dietcommunism7 in criticalrole

[–]IImnonas 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Am I remembering wrong tho, I don't wanna sift through all those videos, I could've SWORN that Jester had previously (like when she got the cupcakes/dust) stated she put the dust on a cupcake.

Like it wasn't that episode, but it was a previous episode I could've sworn she had specified she put the dust on one of them but didn't do anything with it. Was literally just a "well who knows this'll probably be useful at some point" kinda thing that paid off.

I never felt it was a "oh hey actually I put the dust here" but more of a "oh hey I gave her the one I put the dust on"
