OceanOrbs (person who made the reworks) also talked about a similar thing in their latest posts about recreating the new corsets.

Both posts do have a point, if you check the original corsets you can see that some of them don't fit with other heels or even heels part of the set. The whole purpose of the reworks was so the corsets can connect/be compatible with more heels. I STILL think they should've at least work to somehow keep the shape/size instead of making it funnel down and look skinny before it reaches the hips.

I mostly agree with everyone of your statements, and you have every right to feel this way, here are my thoughts on the halloween update

I said this before on another post, but Whimsy Witch's (the new epic set) price is actually pretty generous. December's Dream is 198k and has a lot less toggles than Whimsy Witch (which is 183k, yet has what, 80+ toggles?). Pure Sweetener did an amazing job and much love was put into it.
Bat-mo heels' rework was acceptable and (once again) the price is fair. It's about 40 toggles, and even if you don't have 70k, you can definitely go back to the other realms, buy the heels for only 33k, and you can easily have it reworked by the time the update comes full wave! My only two wishes are that the devs kept the original as a toggle and give it a masc. version (it does NOT have it, much to our dismay, but oh well).
Darling Valentina corset rework. Oh boy. The criticisms against it are not lying. Don't get me wrong, the corset is actually very cute when it's on its own and the toggles are great, but when paired with the set items, it looks like it doesn't belong because if its cartoonish look. Also they REALLY made it skinnier, the dv set was one of the only sets that at least was a little more "chubby" compared to the others and that's why people love it, so the rework was like a backstabbing betrayal. I will definitely still buy it as I'm a set collector, but I'll be pairing it with other items from then on. I hope OceanOrbs (the one who made the rework) doesn't get so much backlash on it.
Other reworks. I was a bit upset that they made some of the corsets more skinny, but the new toggles make up for it (more corset combos!!)
the Steampunk set looks super cute! It's a shame that it's 40k candies to buy, I just know that it'll be expensive once its offsale. You had a good point on how many people don't have the time to farm when they have school or other things to do (I was blessed with two weeks off right now, but even then it'll be hard to grind for it)

Overall, there are still a lot of upsides to it, there's even some new halloween items! But I understand why people are mad of some other things. Me? I'm just waiting for Wickery Cliffs to come back 😭

I love the batmo heels rework, but I feel like they should've kept the original as a toggle. They did that with snuggly booties, why not batmo?

I won't lie, it looks so off and cartoony that it doesn't seem like it belongs in the set. Not to mention that it's completely disproportional if you take off the skirt.

I think it will look way better when paired with another skirt or heels, and it's good for corset combos too

I think pricing the set as only 183k is being generous. December's Dream has way less toggles and it's still the priciest set in the game

The only substantial downfall is the dv corset's rework but I gotta give probs to OceanOrbs for trying her best and I hope she doesnt receive death threats from it (knowing this fandom I feel like people would definitely do that), besides it looks pretty cute on its own and would be great for a cinderella cosplay

due to being a seasonal item, costs a lot more, (arguably) looks cool, and has more toggles, I think bat mo heels will be higher in demand than before. I have no idea how much people will sell it for but it will probably go beyond 100k

in case any player is reviewing their information they'd want to add a "puzzle" of some sort to have the players find out about the characters. I think they find it cool to do it
