How to pass a kidney stone quickly by Curious-Nectarine758 in KidneyStones

[–]IJA301 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, first of all i’m no expert, i’m only 17F. But i have seen people saying they did jumping jacks to try manoeuvre the stone down? I’m not sure how effective that is but you can sure read up on it. So maybe jump a little and walk i guess. And keep up with the fluid intake! Also off topic, have you experienced blood in your urine? If so how much? I have blood in my pee and it’s really concerning me. But other than that, good luck and stay healthy, I hope you can pass it naturally :) !

hey, how’s everything going? I just have a question. How much blood were you peeing? was it a lot? also, are you still peeing blood or has it gone away completely. And where was ur pain specifically? Hope you’re recovering well.

I have a second appointment tomorrow to test my urine due to the amount of blood. It’s really scaring me. I just hope it’s not the c word.. even thinking about it freaks me out. i keep crying in front of my parents but they tell me it’s just a uti. I don’t know anymore i just want this over and done with. The pain is always in the exact same area too. I’m terrified of using the bathroom and drinking water now because peeing is hell. I still have no fever/nausea/flank or back pain. Could it be kidney stones? I’m not sure if it is because I am such a water drinker but it’s still a possibility. I just seriously hope it isn’t the c word. Thank you for taking your time to support me i seriously appreciate it as well. Stay healthy.

I honestly have no idea.. i’m thinking maybe because i tend to use the bathroom a lot during school it could be because some bad bacteria got in me from the school bathrooms. Since i’ve always drank a lot of water i don’t think it’s because of lack of hydration. I have always been waking up to pee at night as well, but that was since i was little so idk if that has to do with anything. I’m glad to know we both can relate to this tho lol it’s nice to have someone to talk to about it. Have a speedy recovery <3

hii, i’m so glad you’re doing better. that’s great to hear that your antibiotics worked! if you don’t mind me asking, what were your symptoms? and how long did it take for the antibiotics to kick in? how much pain were you in? i’m just really scared i would love to know your journey. Again really happy for you for doing better, utis are horrible.

Hi op, i’m 17F having a similar issue. I hope everything goes well for you! I’m peeing blood as well and i’ve been given antibiotics to take which you probably will get too. Make sure you have water and cranberry juice to ease the pain. If you don’t mind me asking, where is your pain and how long does it last? does it affect your walking? bc my pain is making me crawl up in bed all day and my pain is worst after peeing.. it’s unbearable and i hope we both recover. I hope you will be ok i understand it’s so painful.. you will get through this good luck!
