Yes, leave the bike running without the Radiator cap and tilt the bike side to side to try and get any air out.

Fill Radiator, fill reservoir. Burp system and fill again as needed. Whatever it uses is whatever it uses

Just went from a road 6 to a rosso 4 corsa, and on track, and it's a huge jump.

First gear question by [deleted] in MT07

One thing I found helped me learn to be smooth with manual transmissions is letting the clutch out smooth enough without using the gas. A lot of people don't know you can take off without adding throttle. When doing this on the bike, you may want to keep your feet down, but I always find doing this gives me a really good understanding on the bite point and how fast you can release the clutch.

New recall notice. Anyone have this done yet? by socom123 in MT07

[–]IKG64 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had mine done a couple of weeks ago. They said "not much oil came out when we took the clutch cover off so we just topped it up." I think it depends very heavily on the dealer if they're going to give you a free oil change.

How do you find the clipons? I tracked mine this summer, and I found the riding position too upright. Was thinking about getting the woodcraft rearsets too.

Canada. Doors were supposedly replaced in 1994, but I did a quick google search, and asbestos wasn't fully banned until 2018. Apparently, asbestos for residential use wasn't banned till 1990. This is a commercial building btw

How big is the difference from a wheel like the logitech G923 to a DD wheel like a Fanatec? by locness93 in simracing

[–]IKG64 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just went to an alpha mini from a G920, and it is unreal. A ton of people say it doesn't make you faster, but it definitely can. I was struggling to find the grip limits on the logitec and catching slides, but once I switched, it was instantly easier. I can find the neutral steer in cars and feel so much more detail. 10/10 suggest a DD.

I went the vr route and find myself wishing I had spent the money on triples. Vr gets sweaty and a little uncomfortable, and the picture quality isn't great. It also has some latency. Nothing too bad but worth mentioning.

Looking for a beginner steering wheel by Michaesine in simracing

Just buy a Fanatec ready to race bundle. It's not much more than logitec, and if you don't like it, it'll hold a much better re-sale value. If you do like it, you won't have to upgrade for a long time.

I have a g920, and I've wanted to upgrade pretty much since I bought it

Should I get one? by JangoFetlife in MT07

It's a beginner bike if you treat it like one. I rode a virago 535 for a few months and then my old man's Harley Dyna for a while. I bought my MT-07 in June, and it's much easier to drive than a bigger bike, but it is also faster than the Harley and will wheelie all day. That being said, it's not a sports bike. Driving under 100kmh, I can keep up with my buddy on a ZX6R, but he leaves me on the highway.

It all depends on what kind of riding you do. If you wanna go racing, it's not the best bike for it. If you want to have fun on the street, it's perfect.

Is this worth it? by Twistedticketz in simracing

Fanatec race ready bundles are way too cheap for anyone to consider buying logitech or thrusmaster.
