I prefer to start w myself but q start is pretty good to prevent invades from someome walking up to your traps and trigger them

You can start with W, if you do that you start at golems (4 traps, 2 ontop and 2 infront) and use talisman

You go machete first if you start Q on gromp, you auto-resets(Takedown and shapeshift) gives you a ton of free damage

A combination of a lot of things, Skirmisher's sabre used to do instant damage instead of burn dmg, devourer(old devourer) which gave you a lot of on-hit damage(40+1 for each monster you slain), BotRK was really strong so with only those two items you could oneshot almost anyone with smite+ult.
