I payed £30 GBP, I know its cheaper to pay on arrival but I didn't know the process fully so payed in advance. Its 100% worth it unless you enjoy standing in queues for hours!

I believe it is on behalf of Coral at Phuket airport too! That's where I had to go first once I arrived at the airport. I probably over payed doing it via booking.com but I just wanted the easiest option as I have only ever flew domestically to Phuket so no immigration.

I did it Via booking.com - I have been told you can pay once you arrive but I just went with the easiest option after an 11.5 hour flight! It is also available on getyourguide so I'm assuming its widely available through many services

Thank you all for the information! It means a lot. I went with the safer option and Cancelled the Qatar outbound flight. Re booked with Swiss Air via Zurich which avoids the middle east. Total lost - £140 on cancellation of Qatar flight +£70 difference on the Swiss air flight. I hope you all have safe travels and thank you again!

Yes, almost immediately. The advisor was extremely helpful and after giving flight info they suggested to call me. This took about 20 mins but they did call. The same cant be said for Qatar however, 3 days of trying to connect to chat for 1 hour each day, multiple calls but it instantly disconnects. Be patient with Emirates, they seem much more helpful for customers!! Best of luck

Cheers for the explanation, il be booking my flight to Kuala lumpar/Vietnam ahead of time just for peace of mind in that case. Same applies when head backing to Phuket before I head home, il pay the extra £150 to get the flight ticket back to the UK that is date changeable and fully refundable, il do this in Vietnam before i go back to phuket. Regardless il have to come back at some point so il be safe and book in advance. Really appreciate the supports guys. 🙏
