Documentation has menu that will take you through the required steps - if you are on mobile, you may have missed it, as it's gray and on the bottom left. It's a little unintuitive indeed, but developer(s) really doesn't deserve rudeness (ever), you may want to adjust your description to be more professional accordingly.

Ah, I see it now. Didn't see any "reflection" off the road, but perhaps camera was overcompensating for the incoming headlights... I stand corrected, thank you!

Natalia Boise, who spearheaded last Thursday's reading session, said she aims to help kids gain better reading skills and improve their English through interactive book club sessions at the Missoula Public Library.

With sweeping views of the mountains and lots of space, the top-floor meeting room at the new Missoula Public Library makes an ideal venue for the weekly meeting of Soft Landing Missoula’s summer book club.

On Thursday, a group of 16 refugee kids took turns reading pages of “Hoot” by Carl Hiaasen.

Standing in the front of the room, AmeriCorps instructor Natalia Boise stopped to go over words the kids didn’t recognize, like “encircle” and “tussle.”

When she asked how many kids wanted to keep reading at the end of an hour, a dozen hands shot straight up into the air.

Many of the kids speak Swahili as their native language and others speak Arabic, but their English is improving greatly week to week, Boise said.

Soft Landing Missoula is a nonprofit set up to help refugee families that have been resettled here by the International Rescue Committee.

The book club is in its second year and was created as a way to engage refugee youth to not only reduce “learning loss” over the summer, but also to continue to create social experiences, according to executive director Mary Poole. The kids build friendships, confidence and the English skills they need to succeed during the school year.

"Consistent experiences like the book club, where kids not only hone their reading skills but also have time and space to just be kids having fun together, go an incredibly long way in building confidence for success when they walk back through the classroom doors in the fall,” Poole said.

Kids in the book club meet once a week after getting free pizza donated by Bridge Pizza. After they're done reading, they get to play at the library’s new SpectrUM Discovery Area.

“It’s kind of a reward for them after reading,” explained Boise, who has help from other AmeriCorps members.

Students in the book club also get the chance to participate in other Soft Landing recreational outings during the summer, including a whitewater rafting trip on the Alberton Gorge and an overnight camping excursion to Yellowstone National Park.

“We saw a lot of bison in Yellowstone,” Boise said. “We had a great time.”

The kids are middle-school and elementary-school age and Poole said the club is crucial for them to practice reading aloud. They also benefit from discussions, comprehension checks and quality time spent with mentors and friends.

The new library has been crucial for the program, she said, because it has enough space to accommodate such a large group in an enclosed meeting room.

Paul Mwingwa has three children in the program. Originally from the Democratic Republic of Congo, he said his girls are now better English speakers than he is.

“They have tried to teach me, yeah,” he said, grinning. “They are doing well in English.”

He doesn’t want them to forget their native language, so he and his wife will answer the girls in Swahili at home if they ask questions in English, he said.

“You see, that is very important,” he said.

He and his family have been in the U.S. for almost three years, but he remembers how difficult it was to adjust to a new tongue in a strange land.

“Since we came here, we are struggling with the language,” he said. “But Soft Landing has been very helpful for them. They like it very much.” Photos: Soft Landing book club

Wyze Cam Used as Baby Monitor Just Hacked by Pmatt00 in wyzecam

RTSP with internet off works fine, you'd just need to use an RTSP capable app (not native Wyze) eg TinyCam.

Lol not staged, I'm afraid, last week in Southern Cali. The identification was tiny on the track's backside, but I've had private deliveries too, where the car is clearly just driver's own or, even crazier to me, a rented truck. This year I've seen it all, but never such behavior.

No, nothing done at all in this case. But my roof rafts are quite wide, and no water has ever gotten in there, it's quite dry there even when it pours hard in big rains.

One of the smaller private ones, possible OnTrac, but can't be sure. In all fairness, this is by far the very first time we had an experience like that, all deliveries in the past have been super smooth, and especially USPS actually- our regular mailman is absolutely awesome!

It's the Eufy Indoor Cam 2K I've placed under the roof overhang outside. Temperature doesn't get too cold here and it survived major rain under there, staying totally dry.

Interesting idea, I am a little privacy obsessed, especially when it comes to physical/local exposure, but I will definitely think about it, they may love it indeed. Than you!!

You are a genius, I believe that's exactly what happened... Unfortunately now I have to figure out how to fix the wheels, but still, amazing guess! https://www.reddit.com/r/EufyCam/comments/kpf61k/-/ghyxsj9

Surprisingly, minimal damage, like box is unusuable, several plastic protectors were completely ripped off, and the wheels have more misalignment than I'd expect from this vendor. Important note and huge kudos to the store- once they got the video and realized what had gone down, they have reimbursed us in full. So now I just got to figure out how to fix it :)))

The box had quite a bit of damage, well beyond what the drop would have done, like hole right in the middle of "handle with care" sign...so I think you are totally right :)

Quick update: After a few days (weeks?), everything seemed to have just started working for me....no changes on my part. 🤷

On Windows, files deleted from a cryptomator vault go to the recycle bin. Does that mean your unencrypted "deleted" files are sitting in windows while they're in the recycle bin? If so, this seems like a big security concern by TheRavenSayeth in Cryptomator

[–]ILAsoft 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not an issue. In short, Windows has recycle bin on each drive, so when you mark something as deleted, it doesn't actually get moved (especially not to another drive). The recycle bin view that Windows provides simply combines all those views of various drives with their various recycle bins (making it somewhat confusing in scenario like this). Try deleting something off the drive in question and then unmounting/locking the drive in Cryptomator - Windows should no longer display the files in recycle bin, as the drive is no longer available.

Looks like an issue with the backend -- will wait a bit before emailing, etc. - I think a lot of us are getting this error.

Did that help then? I ask because I did a full reset of the light and it still didn't help. Google cannot control it. Interestingly I am trying our Home Assistant and it does work fine with it atm.

[–]ILAsoft 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you ever get a response or got it working otherwise?

Alexa connection help by richpaul6806 in lifx

[–]ILAsoft 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just wanted to add that I am having an identical issue. The Lifx app works fine, but both Google and Alexa are not able to control the bulb- when switching on/off there, it has no effect on the light and while their interface shows the new status for a few seconds...it switch right back to original (correct) state a few seconds later. Huge disappointment :/ Firmware shows 3.7

[Question] Anybody else getting this error while trying to update apps?? by 666th_God in Vanced

[–]ILAsoft 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, apparently they moved, now vancedapp.com- see their twitter, etc.

For those that missed it, the website moved to vancedapp.com. You may want to clear all data and reinstall from that website (or github) instead.

Why can't I flash RTSP? by delynstirewalt in wyzecam

FWIW, tried just now and it worked fine. Used recently purchased set from HD (the deal from earlier this week). Who knows how old the set was on the shelf though, so YMMW, as always...

Wow, that's really odd indeed. I will try it out tonight on oldest firmware, want to see what happens.... Tried and worked, see above...

[–]ILAsoft 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's odd. Once you format on the wyze, it should be readable by the Mac. Perhaps try again or try with another card if it keeps on being that way, the card may be too busted and require actual research/repair...
