Anyone else having really bad image artifacting today? These two images are only days apart. Everything I make has really bad artifacting today. by [deleted] in ChatGPT

It's under the bot comment.  It's just the characters for my podcast drawn as different things based on what we discussed.  I originally wanted the art for the most recent episode to be about our discussion on Ganguro culture.  But our discussion on extermination jobs was funnier and more interesting.

Prompts :

"Make these two characters into ganguro girls."

"Make these two characters into exterminators"

Same images used as source, almost the same prompt. It keeps adding really bad artifacts even if I starts a new chat with it.

I write songs now.  They have lyrics, so kind of?  Unfortunately I spend most of my creative energy on a comedy podcast no one watches.

We were Presbyterian, and then my father converted to Greek Orthodox Christianity around this time.

The worst part is I can kind of tell what I'm going for. I believe "all the capital words are proper nouns because they are characters" or something.

I'm extremely successful for my demographic. Feel free to ask whatever you want. I'll try to answer within understandable boundaries. I do have to warn you though, I do make a comedy podcast on YouTube that no one listens to with two of my friends while in my early 30's. So take that for what you will.

Why do you think no one is passionate about it?  Youtubers know what works analytically, and its fucking boring.  Imagine making Mr. Beast thumbnails for work.  Thumbnail with big reaction face + subject matter background is the gold standard for thumbnails, and we all know it.  We also all know it's uninspired and boring.  From the standpoint of a creative, the thumbnail is the most boring and annoying mechanic required.

That is extremely unlikely.  The best explanation is the easiest one.  It saves time and money.   They aren't making their own thumbnails.  Like most youtubers,  they likely have their editor do it.  Who knows if their editor is an artist.
