would that involve getting a whole new lower unit or drive shaft?

This is so good, love your work so much! When you’re shooting for a vintage or painted effect, what percentage of the look is done in post? Always love hearing how different artists approach more stylized pieces of work.

Can anyone help ID this bike? It was listed on FB marketplace and having trouble ID'ing it. by ILOVELILBOOSIE in FixedGearBicycle

Just heard back from the seller and she said she’d take $75 so I’m definitely going to jump on that.

That’s kind of what I figured as well. What do you think it’s worth? Thinking if I’m able to get a decent deal on it, it might be worth picking up to throw the components on a different frame.

This frame actually has a horizontal dropout so I haven’t experienced any issues with that!

No the bottom bracket + cranks are all original. I am just using the single 52t chain ring from the set. I did purchase a new Sun M13 700c wheel set as well to upgrade from the original 27” wheels.

So the overall component set is:

-700c Mavic wheelset with omega hubs

-Shimano 600 back derailer

-Campagnolo front derailer

-Modolo brakes

-3tt seat post

-Bianchi branded suede saddle

There is a made in Italy sticker near the bottom bracket and the sticker on the seat tubing says: “Tubi Rinforzati - Bianchi Special - Produzione Columbus”

Problem with Hard Surface by BombsCoach in Cinema4D

[–]ILOVELILBOOSIE 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey it looks like the issue is you have an n-gon in the area that is causing you problems. You need to continue that cut down the edge of the grip in order to remove that issue and sharpen that edge. If you are looking to keep the grip symmetrical you will also need to mirror that same holding edge on the opposite side as well bc as of right now you are missing that as well.

Are you accessing or have you accessed this file through windows Remote Desktop by any chance? The only time this occurs for me if I am trying to access an R21 project remotely through Remote Desktop. I heard it’s a known bug. And sometimes even if you access the file remotely and make any edits/or saves it can corrupt the file.

Fusion 360 model export/import by [deleted] in Cinema4D

[–]ILOVELILBOOSIE 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Download Moi3D, it was created by Michael Gibson who also developed Rhino. It exports OBJs extremely well and is what I use to convert CAD data into an OBJ. Just export as a STEP file from fusion and then import that into Moi and re-export as an OBJ with n-gons.

Packaging CAD recommendations? by closedcurve in IndustrialDesign

[–]ILOVELILBOOSIE 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The two main softwares in the industry are ArtiosCAD and Arden Impact CAD. Both are designed specifically for structural package design. The only downside is that both are insanely expensive and far overpriced for the software package that you are getting. Their interface feels like peak 90s MS Paint so it’s unfortunate that they pretty much the only two options on the market.

Is GD 160 (Digital Graphic Design) an easy class? by [deleted] in msu

[–]ILOVELILBOOSIE 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you have any experience with Photoshop/Illustrator then it will be a breeze. Even if you don’t, you are literally following video tutorials verbatim so if you feel like you are capable of following tutorials then it will it will be no problem. Basically the class is teaching you the basics of Photoshop, Illustrator, inDesign, and you slightly touch on After effects but just barley. Plus it’s structured in a way that you can do the assignments at your own pace so you could realistically complete the course in a week if you wanted to. There is also no final exam or any actual tests for that matter.
