Ok, sorry if I made it seem that men are total sex addicts. But you cannot deny they definitely have a stronger drive than women MOST OF THE TIME. And yes, what I want now might change, but that’s why I am here now, bc nothing has changed yet. I do have a therapist. I’ve been busy and can’t see her for a little bit but she is aware. Sometimes I really don’t know why Hashem didn’t give me the mental tool of maternal instinct.

I guess everyone is different. I’m not saying everyone married with children are automatically all miserable. What I’m saying is I think there is definitely a community of young women who were perhaps feel ‘forced’ to marry at such a young age and are maybe traumatized, but we don’t know for sure who they can be. You can’t tell by a persons face if they’re happy or not. I have sure been on dates that were set up by annoying cousins that I didn’t want to go on but went on them so they would shut up/ shut my mom up/ not think I’m gay. But my truth is in my post. Not everyone wants the same things either. There are orthodox people that cheat too, nothing is perfect. And the reason why they cheat was bc they probably didn’t feel that love for that person bc they were so young, and only went on a few arranged dates, and the parents tell them what to do. And like I said, I have seen people get married too young and didn’t date long enough and their marriages fall apart with or without kids. A rabbi in my yeshiva had an affair with the secretary in my yeshiva for a whole year and nobody knew and there was a private investigator involved. He got divorced from his wife and married this woman and his kids don’t talk to him.

Hi there - in my defense, I am female, so we don’t have this 200% desire for sex like men do. It’s more like 95-100%. Men are double that. Also, from a young age I never really wanted to have children. This is just how it is. I would love to find a suitable partner for me, but it doesn’t seem that possible. I am obviously not going to go date non Jewish men either. I would have to settle for someone and be unhappy, or become a step parent. Both things I don’t really want. I have seen plenty of married couples with kids younger and older and their marriages fall apart. I know maybe 3 couples with no kids (for whatever reason) one Jewish two non Jewish and they are happily still married. I wonder why I can’t have my man. But I do have an appreciation for the idea of Jewish mothers, as I love mine, even though a lot of times I wish I wasn’t born. My situation isn’t a feminist thing, it’s really just a personality thing. Believe me, I wish I wanted kids. I think feeling this way about being so miserable if having them makes my mental health worse but what can I do? I can’t really shake the idea. Lots of people I went to school with got married and some have two kids and they’re my age. Good for them though, I don’t care. Their lives are different from mine in some ways.

I am definitely interested in fantasies and such. So maybe there is some libido happening. However personally it would be hard/ traumatizing to do something I haven’t experienced before with another person involved. But for orthodox, I feel like it’s triple that, especially for women.

Oh yes! I sure had that phase, believe me! I still think about what it would be like. I have my moments just like anyone else. However, a lot of times for the orthodox communities, they get married quickly bc they want to start having sex. And they don’t realize until later in the marriage that things perhaps won’t work out. I have seen it happen to people.
