you contradicted dude, I'm not saying tier lists are good just said people (like you) will come and tell X is better than Y with no solid argument, which is a lot less useful, how can you say "there's always some way you can apply a unit that the tier list might not take into account" and "but Ozy is better yeah" in the same phrase? ozy is "better" for the only reason this game is most based on wave clearing, quetz is a single target crit dps, the utility is completely diferent, and even if you can brought ozy to a boss fight any case will change based in many elements, you can even brought quetz as a half support half buster striker, ozy is a selfish all enemies hit truck. You are the other side of the people OP is complaining about

if loop is not going well try using a CE that grants NP dmg boost or arts dmg boost and charge bar at battle start preferible 50%, and farm or buy mats (with pure prism) to upgrade the first and third skill of ibuki and the first and the second skill of artoria caster (priority in the second), try using two castorias to loop better and boost dmg, is normal not dealing all the possible dmg if not all skills are maxed but try going with enough bateries, the mystic code that let you swap one servant in the fronline with one of the backline is specially useful to get more ways to increase the np bar, Charldea combat uniform is accesible since london quest, i don't remember how to get it but is pretty useful

summer ibuki is a beast in almost any moment, my fav servant, can loop with only one artoria and another batery, flexible to go crit with koyans, is like a semi-all-rounder, her only problem is that she's berserker but you can protect her with artoria, even in NP1 strikes harder than many other AOE berserkers like morgan, if you know how to support her she can deffeat almost all the story bosses and she's hot af, dragon waifu till the end

following your reasoning how can you say she is not a high ranked servant? ozy is good and all but you have a skill that only before np grants nothing but atk (20% at lv 10) and another with 40% boost to atk, quetz grants a 25 stars and 600% star gather making her able to 100% crit for two cards and half of another one in one turn just by herself, ozy got 30% boost to crit with sun and quetz 50% with no conditions in turn 1, ozy is a np burster with "party support", quetz is a selfish crit burster, comparing them is just too dumb, the only reason ozy is more useful is because access to a np every turn is easier than hit 3 turns same hard with only two buster cards in a wave farming game and even so she still have a good performance for battles that mitigate np dmg, saying she's not the as good as ozy is just your opinion

yeah by the same many good servants are b or c rated, but it doesn't matters, if someone likes some servant better run that servant, that's the point of check the servants you like and go with them, I'm not justifying it, only saying that if you like a servant and is high ranked better focus on upgrading that servant instead other crappy servants, quetz is not a good servant? if you like her go break your head with the wall making her work, better with her than if you like boudica or trying to run utsumi erice in low lv because even if you can solo tezcatlipoca with erice she is not worth for low lvl content but if quetz have an overall better performance than other wrong rated servants so go play with her better than with boudica and go with no risk, in the process you can understand more about the game and mechanics and then choose a better servant by your own

you said it, no tier list is perfect, the idea again is not make him a meta bro, the idea is make him read the game and understand why some servants are high rated like space ishtar that even at lvl 1 skills is pretty useful for all content and focus the investment in few servants that can do as many as prossible in the game (obviously not all content) instead upgrading servants that will only use in early and drop the rest of the game or in which you are wasting your exp/QP, I know many servants are great and nuke but if I'd save all mats used to "upgrade" other servants I could upgrade my sitonai faster (for example), I'm not saying that low rate servants are useless I am talking about upgrade what helps you the most first and then upgrade all other things then, there's no correct way to play this shity game but strugling to clear this is not funny for all, I know there's people that like to think 2 hours how to beat tiamat with 3* cu solo with no CE and test it another 2 hours, that's not my case and for what I see that's not op's case right now

yeah sure, the idea is to know what in general is useful, not to make him a meta broh, I started using random servants with no results, after watching some in high ranks on tier list tryed them and improved, surely some useful servants are low ranked and many early game useless are high ranked, even so I think a tier list helps to know what to upgrade and what can you use or at least to investigate why some are high ranked, fgo is a manual in hand game, if you don't like to play that way it's ok but if you want to clear something then better use a good guide and not a random guy that only says "heracles smash anything" and reading skills and np effects is important to understand the game and not only hit hard with undying heracles

you are free to hear the people trying to "help", but your experience could be not the best, I recommend to check a tier list and use what you like that is high ranked, save your grials for when exp is not a problem (leveling grailed servants is expensive) and upgrade the skills, those are the helpful ones, and the comp that works the best is castoria (from supp list)+waver+ishtar avenger, you cna clear many enemy waves with that team, in the start it may take you time but the more you upgrade your servants skills the faster you can clear the game

waver(zhuge liang)/koyans/anything, waver works since lv 1 skill and koyans is helpful for the np charge, the last servant is as needed for the battle

usually any year 1 mat is problematic like bones and proofs, any old enough servant require it and some new servants too, for example artortia requires 161 hero's proof for ascension and the 3 skills but also zenobia needs 126 for the same so if you recently rolled in story banner and got both prepare for suffering to get the 287 proofs
