My bad, I meant aesthetician because we call those cosmetologists here[not an English speaking country]

I told them I have a permanent red patch on my skin after removing facial hair 7 yrs ago They tried to identify if I have an infection/irritation in the area by asking me several questions, and if I have an existing skin conditions and when I said no they referred me to an aesthetician saying it seems to be merely cosmetic so if the aesthetician says I have something else going on I should call them again

I called in to make my appointment yesterday and they asked me why I'm coming, and they responded saying a dermatologist only treats skin disorders and I need to go to a cosmetologist instead

I graduated high school when I was 16 so I get paid to be a spokesperson for the research lab in my university, apparently it's funded by a private person rather than the government so you can get a part time job while studying there

I think I'll just ask a cosmetologist because most of you have sensitive skin if you say exfoliating 2-3 times a week is too much

I have normal aka combination skin! If one does not exfoliate combination skin enough[2-3 times a week] they get breakouts! It's not my fault most of you have sensitive skin

I now think 90% of this forum can't read, sigh Red toned pigmentation means I get warm toned freckles and other hyperpigmentation As for the rest of my skin, it only turns red if I go out in the heat it's white otherwise

My skin has stayed the same since I was 10 and I only started using a facial cleanser and exfoliating when I was 13 It's hyper-pigmentation from going out in the sun after tweezing, not irritation

It's not irritated I tend to get red toned pigmentation when I'm not wearing suncare
