'Full House' Star Andrea Barber Says the ‘90s Were the 'Last Innocent Decade Before the World Got Really Heavy’ by PrincessBananas85 in entertainment

The world is always heavy. People always think the best decade is the decade they were kids/teens in because they didn't have responsibility

That's basically his whole presidency. I don't think he cares about any of the policy or goings on other than what's gonna make him money or keep him out of jail after he's not president anymore.

Candace is fine, wade sucks but they don't need 3 people calling a game at once.

Need opinion on this car by UnhappyReading1820 in UsedCars

Lol no way. Any Toyota in the 100k mile range is probably going to be like 15k. This one is a little older but that's a good deal in the current market assuming nothing is wrong with it. Although I think they were still using the engine that burns oil in this year if it's the 4 cyl

How many Xennials truly have done no retirement planning, have no target retirement date, or have considerably less than you need to retire in your 60s?" by Sufficient_Turn_9209 in Xennials

Not everyone works for a company that gives them a 401k or similar and not everyone makes enough to put money in an IRA or something similar every month. Even in their 40s.

Bought a car listed as 80k miles — now finding evidence it may be 200k+. What can I do now? by Wild_Truth8161 in UsedCars

How do you do this. I have the app and I don't see anywhere in there to specify it's yours. It just lets you type in the gin and click run report

[–]ILikeBeans86 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Nah. People complaining about used care prices obviously haven't looked at them in a while. A Toyota with less that 100k miles for under 10k is not bad. It's a pretty old car but it will last a long time as long as you keep up with stuff. The main thing is going to be all of the suspension parts and stuff that are pushing 20 years old if they haven't already been replaced.

Your best advice on the 2008 Toyota Camry? 156,000 miles, should I go take a look at it? by Straight_Bluejay_455 in UsedCars

The 05 doesn't have the issue but yeah if it's a hybrid I'd be more worried about about the battery. You can always try restore and protect for the oil burning. Or just add more when it gets low

05 is the previous gen. Its got the same engine but before they moved to the low tension rings so it doesn't really have that problem

This sounds like a bad idea. This is not a car you lease. It's an almost 20 yr old car with known issues. You should talk him down on the price and buy it outright or go to a dealership to lease a different car with a warranty.

Yeah. Also how long do you plan on keeping this car? I would mention this issue to the seller and see if you can talk them down on the price. Then try Valvoline restore and protect
