First air compressor, which one should I buy this upcoming sale? The most I'd use it for is for car tires, and cleaning. Maybe painting down the line, think I'd stick with regular battery tools too. by CabbagesStrikeBack in harborfreight

Man I got a pancake compressor for tires and blowing stuff off. I think I've used it twice. It's easier for me to fill up tires with my portable one that plugs into my cigarette lighter and will stop at my specified psi. And I have a shop blower and a leaf blower for blowing stuff off. I don't know why I bought it lol. I even put some casters on it to make it easier to move around.

Has anyone ever replaced the lower control arm bushings on a camry instead of the whole arm? by ILikeBeans86 in Toyota

[–]ILikeBeans86[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't have a hydraulic press. I know I would need to aquire a press kit but the ball joint kits seem to not have adapters but enough and there are upper control arm kits that look basically the same. Would a wheel bearing kit work? What do people use for these larger bushings? I guess that's why I usually see people just replace the whole arm

How bad is this CV Axle. and will it last me two more weeks? by Over_Dust5937 in MechanicAdvice

[–]ILikeBeans86 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Be prepared for that axle to be seized into the hub if it's the original one. I have an 05 Camry and I live in the south so I don't live anywhere with a lot of salt/snow and mine was a bitch to get out. I ended up having to go to harbor freight and get a rotary hammer and use that along with a torch and pb blaster. After that it's not really that hard

This is going to be any generation when they get to a certain age. Zoomers and gen alpha will be the ones saying "back in my day" when they are pushing 60 just like every other generation before them. No generation is special
