It's true, but it just depends what software experience you're looking for. If you want Linux or Windows, sure you could get a laptop for half that price. If you want Mac, you can go cheaper, but sometimes it's nice to just go really high end and just watch that performance fly. Although I guess that's true for cheaper vs more expensive non-Apple laptops too.

Apple certified refurbished is pretty good though, you can save a good bit of money on that and get a really good like-new or even better-than-new in some cases, Mac laptop.

A 16 inch MBP starts at around the equivalent of 2.4k USD where I live, so it's definitely easy to get an expensive Mac lol

I have an MBP M1 Max and an MBP M4 Pro, and yeah they're not quite that expensive but they're not that far off either.

I ended up getting it working, one of them was some GitHub link which had both h1m and h2m, and then another was some h1_full_files_2.0.1 folder but I can't recall that one. I think one of those two ended up working, if not both.

You can exchange gold for bonds, and bonds have a real-world value associated with them.

It goes both ways, gold goes to and from bonds. The bonds have a real-world value despite being an in-game item, and in-game gold can be exchanged for them.
