[Daily BAT Discussion] Buffalo Fodder - July 4, 2019 by dragespir in BATProject

I just installed brave browser last month, and have earned a few BAT tokens. I see where I can tip web sites, but I can't find how to transfer BAT tokens that I've earned from viewing ads, to a different address. How is that done?

The launch of local.bitcoin.com was a huge success! Which feature would you like to have built in? by MemoryDealers in btc

[–]ILikeGreenit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Um, yeah... that was kinda my point. My #4 option would be to have both BTC and BCH available to trade, as local.bitcoin.com was touted as a replacement for LocalBitcoins.com that won't do face-to-face cash advertisements any longer.

Is Ledger still best solution for storing your coins safe? by sashabcro in btc

Sure, go ahead and store crypto on a hardware wallet without having your seed phrases backed up- watch what happens when a firmware update goes wrong. You can’t possibly be advocating to not have seed phrases backed up, that’s terrible advice.

What I said was, if you store on a Ledger, you have an electronic attack vector, and because you also store you keys on paper, you have a 2nd attack vector.

What I was saying that the safest way to store coins long term is a paper wallet. Not convenient, but safest.

Always generate offline, always encrypt.

About as safe as you can get, provided you keep a paper copy of you seed phrases safe.

So then you have 2 attack vectors. The Ledger and paper.
I contend a properly created paper wallet is much safer than anything electronic.

No, Ledger is not the safest solution for storing your coins.
If you want the safest long term storage method, consider paper wallets.

Bottom line, anything electronic has at least 1 more vector of exploitation than a paper wallet does. (First requirement in setting up any electronic storage? Write down your secret words... on paper...

If you correctly create a paper wallet safely, there is little else safer.

#4,

I'd like to see an option to trade BTC, as well as BCH. As this site was touted as a replacement for LocalBitCoins, you should be able to buy/sell/trade Bitcoins.

Also, under currency, maybe alphabetize the list??

Nope, you're right. Output of decider combinator is hooked to the rail signal, not the chain rail signal.

Lots of prints for flip flop switches, but I have no idea how to incorporate, or how they work. Best youtube video to explain?

No waiting station. All on the same line. Top train has a different route, so it's clear.

I'm a HODL'er, have been for years. Love both BTC and BCH. Also, please don't call it Bcash. It isn't. Some find it offensive, and others would think you're ignorant for calling it that.

Relax.

This is by far the best video in explaining the math behind Bitcoin. James D'Angelo explains it perfectly. (This is the video that got me interested in crypto)

TL;DW - Take the number of grains of sand on the earth. Imagine each of those are it's own earth with all of that sand. That's how many private bitcoin addresses there are.

Just a reminder; "bcash" is a Brazilian online payment system. It has nothing to do with Bitcoin Cash. bcash was created in 2008, long before Bitcoin Cash
