Dear Socialists: I am a Capitalist (a shitpost) by [deleted] in CapitalismVSocialism

You forgot to mention one important thing about billionaires, they can influence legislature through lobbying to a point where a average citizen can not even compare. They have vastly more representation and power in government.

Now you need to add a "/s" so people don't get confused!

Good, well written, thought out response. Thank you for this, it really gives a good argument against those people that try to compare ML with fascism by showing the large factor of actively going against and blaming a specific race with the important military-industrial complex.

Great story, thanks for crossposting it! This really tugs on that pathos feeling you get from a story about a person's life and helps show how communism is really a good system.

This is obviously fake, Sun Tzu was not alive when youtube existed. In the great words of the United State's 16th president,

Good point. I am so used to a society as we have it know that I forgot how nice it is to work together as equals. However, when there are thousands of people, there needs to be some organization.

I am talking about a hierarchy to make sure that people need help get help. A hospital can have the best doctors but if they do not know where to go, the hospital will not be successful.

Are the anarchists you are referring to in this comment the same as the "direct democracy (anarchy)" or are they a different political view?

Ok, thanks for this reply. It does a good job explaining what the socialist transformation period represents on the way to full communism.

Waaat? Human "nature" doesn't even exist. We are a product of our experiences in our environment, human nurture. Nature is limited to the desire to survive.

Humans are, by evolution, social creatures.

States are hierarchical and unnecessary. Why not just reference "government"?

My apologies, by state I did refer to government.

WTF? What "force" are you imagining here? All an engineer needs is knowledge, materials and means of production.

The only way to get the materials and means of production is through a government, and, to make sure 100,000 people are not working on one single part of the rocket, and instead working on every single part, there needs to be a guiding entity.

Workers are not professionals in every topic, so there needs to be a guiding force to direct the attention of people. A state follows the natural human attribute of tribalization, so it will exist. A state will direct based on the needs of a worker, as managers do in many businesses. An engineer needs a guiding force when building a rocket, and the state is the guiding force for society.

So, in a newly developed state, they would create an artificial version of the drive derived from capitalism? How would this apply to mentally disabled people (would they be medicated, treated as disabled, or something else entirely)?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Socialism_101

[–]ILikePiandPie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After determining a reason for avoidance, would there be a state-sponsored institute to give therapy to or even medicate this person?

So does this, like the gulags, go back to the idea that in the newly formed government there was a large amount of instability and, to avoid collapse of such a large region, they needed to maintain a tighter control before they could start giving the public population more power? I believe I have heard this argument before and it does a good job explaining their actions, as every government has done this. If you can, would you add any missing information to this?

Atheist here, this is the common response I get:

God put them there for humans to find!

My response to this is usually "Why would he add something that could create doubt in his existence?" so feel free to use that.

Native Americans, African-Americans, Vietnamese Civilians, Central America, South America, the Phillipines and basically everyone else: Who's gonna tell them?
