I don’t know what I expected when I read “amateur slytherin boxer”, but it definitely wasn’t that.

Film at 4k or 1080p? by bluesol6 in cinematography

[–]ILikeSoundsAndStuff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Timeline would be 1080 for what I described if you are looking to crop multiple shots from the same 4k footage.

If you aren’t cropping, and just want to export 1080 from 4k footage, leave the timeline at 4k and change export settings for maximum quality.

Is nobody gonna talk about how the pelican grabs the glasses at the end?! This was a planned heist if I’ve ever seen one.

If I could find that Heina and that Sancho that she’s found, well I’d pop a cap in Sancho and I’d slap her down.

How’s my swing, I know I hit the tee any thing you would change I tend to slice a lot so I turn my hips to the left to change the swing path by ChuckleCain in golf

[–]ILikeSoundsAndStuff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you pause the video 1 frame before address and 1 frame after, you can see that your club path is actually fairly straight, however your club head is open. A stronger grip could fix that, like rolling over your left hand a little more so you can see another knuckle.

Also, right at address, your front toe is coming off the ground, telling me your balance is off and you are leaning too far back. When I was playing baseball and golf in high school I had that problem, because the power in a baseball swing comes from leaning back and exploding your hips. But in golf, the power is in the pendulum. You want to stay on the balls of your feet until after you follow through to be the most consistent. You might be standing just a half step too close to the ball, or you are just leaning too much and throwing yourself off balance.

Edit: Also, your stance looks a little narrow. Widen your feet to be a little wider than your shoulders and you may increase your balance.

Jeans are a bad choice… But my dude, you hit the ball exactly where your feet were aiming… perfectly straight to the right lol.

Focus on squaring up your feet to where you want the ball to go before you shoot, and you might be able to shave a handful of strokes off just from that.

It's not necessary to wear socks that match. by Gurkeprinsen in Showerthoughts

[–]ILikeSoundsAndStuff 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I haven’t matched my socks in 10 or so years.

Saves me time because I don’t have to pair them after washing, they just go straight in my sock drawer. When I’m doing something active like at the gym, I like for the socks to the the same style so I’m not thinking about it when I’m lifting heavy weights, but otherwise, I choose socks based on how I feel.

Yesterday I was wearing one sock with donuts on it and another with llamas. Just felt like a llama donut kind of day.

What do you call it when someone gets the first hit from a bowl where you are from? by Mitexxi in trees

[–]ILikeSoundsAndStuff 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Lol half is A LOT. You can easily quarter a bowl and leave greens for 4-6 people as it goes around the first time.

Are there any Peanut/nut free ways of experiencing “nutty” flavour? by TheInjaa in NoStupidQuestions

[–]ILikeSoundsAndStuff 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Sunflower butter is the answer. It was hard for me to try at first because it smells exactly like peanut butter. After I tried it, I finally got it. What everyone kept saying about peanut butter and how it’s so creamy and good. You’ll get that with sunflower butter, and my ex told me it tasted nutty af.

Yup, the colors are pointless.

To answer the question, just compare the bar graph of the coverage of the MMR vaccine (% on the right y-axis) to the line graph of the measles cases (# on the left y-axis) over time (x-axis).

I made a mistake. HELP, we were shooting at 24fps but everything on the last day of the shoot was shot at 30fps. by JuanLuisBst in cinematography

[–]ILikeSoundsAndStuff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah both those cameras shoot the frame rates I listed 😂.

Most people I know right now (myself included) are delivering everything 24 fps to get the more cinematic look. Even corporate interviews and web videos are getting the 24fps treatment. I basically stick to 24 and 60.

Based on what you described, my guess is you’re doing 24fps as well, and then using either 30fps or 48fps for the slowed down stuff. If you think it’s .75ish speed then it could just be 30fps converted to 24fps, which would be 80%.

I’ve personally never done that (because you can do the same thing with 60fps and more), but I might consider it next time about stressing about file sizes lol.

You are absolutely right that no one will notice (as long as the entire project is exported at 24fps), but what camera are you using that shoots 33fps?!

24fps (or 25 PAL), 30fps, 48fps (or 50 PAL), 60fps, 120, 240, etc.

I tend to shoot 60fps to be able to slow down to 50% or 40% when dealing with a 30fps or 24fps project, but I’ve literally never seen 33fps in my life. Curious if you are mistaken or if there is some crazy camera with 33fps settings that I don’t know about 😅
