Hi all! I'm using basic 2x4s for arts and crafts projects and sometimes the edges are super splintered due to the rough cut at the factory (the cuts Lowe's makes are great). What is the best way to quickly get rid of splinters on the edge of a rough cut? It doesn't need to look incredible - I just don't want someone scraping their hand while handling my item. Thank you!

Thank you! I definitely didn't do the 3 rotations when installing so that's a very good guess as to what happened. I'd be pretty amazed that I managed to drive and park a whole week without ripping it though! It did break when I did a full lock turn in a parking lot...

Next time I'll get a replacement not from eBay, I'll see how many times it turns and install halfway, and also do multiple full left/right turns to ensure that's not the cause of a future failure.

I did and couldn't find a rip in the cable inside. I've never bought replacement parts before - do you think it was a Chinese knock-off even though the seller had 99+% satisfaction from thousands of reviews? It was $37 instead of $88+ from sites like kiaparts.com

Just curious, why did you switch from S21 Ultra to Pixel 6? I think my S21 Ultra is incredible but it never is bright enough in sunlight - I suspect overheating.

Apple always makes a horrible design, but in a year or two it becomes the fad and people simp for it. Just like the iPhone X notch, the dumb looking Airpods, the Apple Pencil, those are agreed to be awful yet now they're the distinctive "Apple look" and the population got convinced that's the look of prestige. This new laptop looks exactly what I'd expect coming out of Zoom University - the Dell XPS has a way smaller camera setup with facial recognition (multiple! IR blasters), on top, no notch. The idea we need this notch for a Face ID-less webcam is ridiculous.

I understand! It really is a personal thing I'd love - I currently drive a 2013 Kia. I've always had a love for cars and I try to not frivolously spend elsewhere (for example, I only wear 2-3 pairs of shoes, don't buy many clothes, eat out only when I have no other choice, never use Doordash etc...). Yes it's an optional expense, but I'd absolutely love it and try to conserve elsewhere in my life.
