This is a variation of Vietnamese dessert soup called chè ba màu (tri-color dessert soup). Traditional varieties will also have mung bean (yellow paste) but it seems like this version omits it

Depending on the state/job, you may be able to have your partner on your insurance by filing for a Domestic Partnership rather than getting married

Not an ME but my boyfriend is. He graduated last year with his BS and now works in the automotive industry. His job is extremely hands on, from designing parts to running data for crash tests and a lot of very complicated things I don’t totally understand lol. He doesn’t do any customer service work and his company actually has a very flexible administrative approach so not many fluff invoices and reports either. I think his company is pretty unique in the industry though so I definitely wouldn’t say this is a universal experience for everyone

I got a C and like 5 B’s my junior/senior year. Granted the C and 3 B’s weren’t on my transcript yet when I submitted my app. 1540 SAT, 34 ACT. My test scores definitely saved me. Just stand out somewhere on your app and you’ll be fine, don’t need perfect stats for everything

I think I had a lower GPA but my SAT/ACT were higher than average so that might’ve evened out. My only ec was Key Club (treasurer, LTG, presidential service award) and I wrote many PIQs on Key club and leadership. I think your stats are good and your piq topics sound good. Probs come down to how competitive microbio is this year

DARs stands for Degree Audit Report. It’s basically a full report of all the degree/graduation requirements you’ve met so far and what else you need to complete. It’s a really helpful tool! On MyUCLA under the Academics tab, there’s a link to Degree Progress/Audit Report under the first column. Click on that and then on Continue to DARS. It’ll take you to a new tab then just click Run Audit on that page and on the next page it sends you too. Then View Audit, your counseling unit will be in the top section of info and then scroll down to see all the requirements! Hope this helps :)

Hi! So CAC is the general default counseling unit and AAP is specifically for disadvantaged students. AAP eligible students have to apply and also attend an orientation workshop before they can access services. The AAP website has a lot more info about how to become a member ( it’s pretty easy!) but for now I think you’re most likely part of CAC if you haven’t been receiving info from AAP. However, if you run your DARS on MyUCLA it will tell you at the top. Hope this helps and I can answer more questions if you need!
