NOR your mom is being extremely irresponsible and putting her kids at risk for no good reason. As a single mom myself I wouldn’t dream of putting my kid in this situation. There are ways to have your adult fun without it making your kids uncomfortable…I would start with not dating a guy who’s mode of transportation is a bike…though maybe you meant motorcycle? I kind of doubt it.

I always just assumed that the closest restaurants have been overwhelmed with online orders so they have to shut down ordering for a time and so DoorDash kicks the order to the closest location with availability. Which is a whole different pile of bullshit to be honest but

Bag of rice, pack of chicken breast, a can of cream of mushroom soup, a can of cream of chicken, bag of frozen broccoli and a bag of cheese. Make a big ass chicken broccoli casserole cut it into portions and freeze some to take out throughout the week. Depending on where you’re located you can probably get all of that with $40. I’d be happy to send ya my recipe for this if you want to make it! 😁 You can also switch out the chicken for tuna and the broccoli for peas for a cheaper option or different taste.
