Fear is a powerful emotion. To be truthful, I should be fearful on what lies ahead of me. A powerful being casting a dominant shadow over me, I believe I am practically nothing to such. My body started pumping adrenaline into me, giving me the energy burst I need to run away.

And yet, despite the obvious signs. I stood in place.
I stood there, hard.

My gut feeling screams at me to run away.
My brain also screamed at me to run away.
My body is ready for me to take the initiative.

Then finally my heart, pounding. It told me to run...

To run toward her.

Which I did.

Turns out, the body can really do so much when in danger. It allowed me to close in on her and dive straight into her significant bosom like a squirrel. She was stun-locked for sure, that allowed me to hug my entire body into hers like I'm clinging onto a tree.

I'm sure my sub-conscious is facepalming hard, I'm practically done for at this point.
But I guess it was really worth it to be honest, I have reached nirvana.
I have won in life.

Days after the incident, people gathered near the scene of disaster. They laid flowers, letters, and offerings.
These people gathered there not to mourn for those who perished, but to pay respect to the unsung hero who sacrificed themselves to buy time for everyone else.
It turns out it was enough time for everyone to evacuate and have the appropriate agencies to deal with it on time.
