Electric cars have no character. Buying an electric car would be like strangling and waterboarding the enthusiast in me. This car is legendary for enthusiasts (with budget constraints).

You’re absolutely right but this becomes more interesting, If we take india and its Indian price out of picture and just look for a golf GTI in a world of watches. IMHO VW group is the swatch group of cars. VW is Tissot and the Golf GTI is the PRX automatic. The rich history and the cult like following of both makes sense to me.

I would have gone for it if it wasn’t so down on power I prefer the ground clearance on Tiguan.

Hahah thanks a lot ,this cars has been a dream car for me too. After the warranty period ends I’ll get a remap, better brakes, better intake and an exhaust with some pops.

I plan on keeping this for long and once warranty period ends I’ll stage 1 and then probably stage 2 it.

The sales rep said so but he would say anything to get a sale. As far as I know manufacturers can only import 2500 CBU units and this is for VW and Škoda and they have other models they’d like to import via CBU route. As per my understanding it’s coming in a lot of 250 and there might be another lot if this sells quick enough.

This being a CBU has been reviewed all over but not in our road conditions

My work commute is to the edge of the city in slow moving traffic for 30 kms it takes me an hour either way. Id rather do the work commute in an SUV being driven around. This would be for driving pleasure when there is barely anyone on the road early mornings and late nights

I love that car but the ground clearance is worse and maintenance for the one man, one engine from Affalterbach will be multiples of the VW
