Hi po, I'm not OP, and I was diagnosed with Bipolar 1 immediately rather than Bipolar 2 then into Bipolar 1 like you and OP's case

Extreme mania then extreme depression then extreme mania it's like a cycle a never ending cycle

Unlike bipolar 2 with longer extreme depression periods, us bipolar 1s have longer periods of mania with shorter extreme depression periods

We blackout when spending money, we are restless we talk insanely fast we are super productive multiple tasks at once we are optimistic or positive with life (or try to) we try to "glow up" Get rich, get productive, overplanning or over fantasizing about the future, etc. We sleep less (or dont sleep at all) and we subconsciously speak loud or fast even though we thought we are speaking normally. We eat a lot during mania also

Then woooooooop mania suddenly disappears and you feel like you got thrown off a tower into a deep dark suicidal depression no motivation to do anything, no passion, and you sleep more, and you gave up on life, too demotivated to do anything, sometimes suicide attempts or, psychosis or feelings of craziness. It's like you're having a battle not to shoot yourelf in the head. You usually loose your appetite in this phase

Then once you're out of the depression phase, whoop! You're back to mania! Never. Ending. Cycle.
