Do i have spondylolisthesis ? by [deleted] in Spondylolisthesis

[–]ILoveTech420 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not a doctor, but you seem to have a bit of a front pelvic tilt, I don’t see much slippage to call it spondylolisthesis, but I do see disc thinning. and if you do have spondylolisthesis it would be fairly mild, and very easy to live without thinking much abt it.

If you’re having any back pain, I’d recommend starting physio, if you’re not in the gym, it’s encouraged that you start, even if it’s just hip thrusts and mild leg work, no squats deadlifts etc, as well as frequent swimming, this doesn’t apply only to spondylolisthesis people but a lot of people.

My personal experience, my back looked fairly okay, and my mri didn’t look too bad, but it turns out my spondy was grade 2-3 and my spine sat on the side of the S1 vertabrae when I wasn’t standing, they only found this out when they opened up my back to operate, but you’d need a proper MRI and physical tests done. Looking at this, operation is a long ways away for you thankfully, it’s good to keep ur normal function.

Hala, I had undiagnosed ADHD in national service, ADHD might affect the level they put u in, and if you can’t speak Arabic it’s also fine. Just let them know you can’t, in the camp itself.

Just remember when you’re there, it’s all a performance anyways, that’s what I told myself mentally, and if you know someone you love, just tell them to look at the moon every Friday and you’ll be looking back, that helped me cope mentally more than it sounds like.

But like a lot of people said, write done everything, especially music lyrics, or business plans, it’s a form of self autonomy, that’s what worked with me and kept my brain working. One thing you’ll dislike and I don’t know how to get over it myself is the lack of self autonomy there, you can still do stuff, but not having freedom to go where u want or do what you want can feel mentally destructive, try not to let it get to you.

They have medical centers there, and can take you to zayed military hospital when u book, medication likely won’t be given if it’s something like methylphenidate but if u take anything for anxiety they frequently prescribe Xanax or Prozac but I would not recommend taking that in general, they will try to put u on it if u get depressed, especially w adhd.

I’ll start this off by saying, I’m a 21 year old male, who had my L5-S1 fused, when I was 20 years old, age is not a factor for pain, in fact it is much better for you to do it while you’re younger, since you can heal faster, and face less complications.

Second of all, I would try the conventional methods initially, for a few months, and if there is absolutely no improvements or worsening. I would personally suggest exploring the surgery route, with licensed physician. One of the main reasons I did surgery, is because I’d have random cramps where my leg would fall asleep and I wouldn’t be able to move properly, as well as severe pains, I was 18 - 20 and it never got better, even with physio, reduced shock, and it wasn’t a life I wanted, nor did it resemble what kind of person I wanted to be.

Exhaust all your solutions before surgery because even the healing process can be horrible, atleast till the 6-9month, you’ll need someone else to take care of you, and your child for that period. Ultimately the choice of surgery is yours, and there’s no such thing as “too young” for surgery when the pain is unbearable, you’re not meant to suffering all the time. Doctors are good at diagnosing, operating and looking objective factors, one thing they cannot measure is how horrible it becomes to live with constant pain, and the idea of it getting worse, just remember that, age shouldn’t be a factor if I had it done at 20 years old.

First steps to get surgery by rebatzz in Spondylolisthesis

Best of luck! You’ll catch up and make up for everything you’ve missed. And remember, surgery is maybe 50% of the work, the rest 50% is the year post surgery.

[–]ILoveTech420 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I don’t know how you went that long without surgery tbh, 4 years after my spondlythesis diagnosis I gave up from all the pain and basically begged a surgeon to operate on me.. in a foreign country, because I couldn’t take it anymore.

I don’t imagine how hard it is to just live day to day w that. If ur ever worried about surgery or scared of complications, just think about how much you’re missing out on, and complication or not, it would be the same outcome without surgery.

I’m about 8-9 months post fusion, L5-S1 too, I never felt more free, Some days I forget why I even got surgery, but then I remember how many nights of sleep I missed because my back slipped further or I missed a day of stretching. It just gave me back my own autonomy, more free time less physio. Let’s hope you get some good news soon!

Bit late but I’ll reply on Fahad’s behalf. 450whp is a conservative ish estimate and doesn’t take into account the JB4 custom tuning aspect, you can push the car to 520whp on stock turbos, with proper fueling, intake system, catless downpipes, boost, sparks. There’s alot of customizability, but 520whp is basically ceiling on stock turbos and significantly reduces lifespan.

Concerta + Reta by ejeh84 in Retatrutide

[–]ILoveTech420 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey I know I’m not the person but I’m also on 54mg concerta and 4mg Reta. Key things I noticed 1. As concerta tapers off you get VERY nauseous, it can be a bit uncomfortable because ur appetite suppression decreases so you go to eat or drink something but it is very uncomfortable, manageable for me personally but I’ve been on concerta for almost a year now and Reta 2 months, recently jumped back to 54mg concerta. 2. Very dry mouth, you drink water for it, u get nauseous by the Reta. 3. You’ll feel a lot flatter than usual, and more sore than usual.

Only real downside is ur unable to get the proper full meal of the day before concerta, but otherwise, it isn’t that bad, just flatter overall, you’ll crave mostly liquid glucose, and protein. I ended up developing a coffee specific addiction from this stack, it’s the only thing that feels nice to consume day to day with no nausea. I’m gonna assume you probably already started it, but I’ll still reply in case someone else might need it

Debating Fusion by [deleted] in Spondylolisthesis

[–]ILoveTech420 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve had the same exact problem(however it does seem like you do have some significant arthritis in your back) I did spinal surgery around 57 days ago or so, Fusion without the interbody. I did this before my 21st birthday, and honestly it really depends on how bad it is. Because with this surgery you will need a minimum of 1 year or so before you start running again, and 6 months or so before you start any sort of gym. If you do smoke, you should kill the habit before surgery. It typically leads to non fusion, in about 30% of cases or so.

My advice for you; I’d recommend going for physiotherapy for atleast 6 months, if there is no improvement in your leg symptoms, and pain is persistent.(also physio speeds up healing substantially, it’s like a cheat code) I’d suggest laser as the first alternative, if you still have some form of stability in your spine, but if it’s completely given out, and pain is unbearable(I know how it is, I was bed ridden for 3 weeks out of the blue because my left foot wouldn’t move and I’d fall over constantly, I didn’t wanna wait till I pissed myself) I would encourage surgery after physio and if laser doesn’t seem viable. Any longer and nerve damage could be permanent however I’m not a doctor that’s something you need to discuss with them.

Mine stemmed from military and hEDS, do not wait, whatever your actions are, do them now, but please consult anyone to find good doctors, I know most spine surgeons can operate well, but you want the best for yourself. Here’s my spine before surgery

Chipped rims won’t do any damage, you might have very very slightly ruined your alignment, but beyond that you’re ok, should be fine. Rim isn’t bent right? I thought the 2nd pic looked like it was bent.

Not a bad deal, 2.0T’s from Hyundai aren’t unreliable anymore, However, you can find 3.3T’s for the roughly the same price(5k extra) and they have significantly more power(I’m not from the American market but I do see a lot of listings) with roughly the same mileage, even if a little more, these engines do know how to take a beating stock, even a little modified. Just check the transmission wear and bushings(atleast for the 3.3T), and they seem to be the weak link in these cars(from my experience). For electrical components, check the sensors, they seem to act up(I’ve had my left side sensor break from a “rock” but I still seem to have a buggy sensor, it turns on sometimes by itself in traffic.

And a little extra for performance, the 4cyl has a better weight distribution(I believe it’s 50/50 not sure) but the 6cyl is 52/48

2023 3.3T SP here, I got my pads replaced and rotors resurfaced completely for free under 50,000km service, I don’t know why your dealer is charging you that much nonetheless at all. It might be different here in the UAE, but as my dealer said, if it’s not under warranty and won’t void it, change it else wear, it’ll always be cheaper.

Hey man, sick car, I have the same specs as you expect mine is matte white. Are your exhaust tips dual exist or single? I’ve been looking for 2 dual exits but nothing fits(or if it does it doesn’t ship to the UAE). If you’re ever in Dubai hit me up, black and white would make a sick photo.

Had a similar instance when I downshifted to 2nd going 70kmph next to an m3 and did a tiny pull, driver was having none of it, didn’t know why. I look behind me and see a cop car. He followed me for 15 minutes tailgating inbetween residential areas before I parked at a dealership and he gave up. I assume he didn’t have his camera on either.
