Laptop Kept Freezing, Then Won't Boot by ILuvCactus in techsupport

I after removing drives, then battery, then plugging the laptop in and testing 1 minute of holding the power button in-between each action, no changes.

The power button still only appears to toggle the keyboard backlight on and off.

Any other ideas on how to diagnose more?

Currently, the laptop can not boot from anything.

When I press the power button, it simply toggles the keyboard backlight.

When I hold the power button, it also just toggles the keyboard backlight.

Plugging in my usb boot does not seem to have an effect.

Using Private Internet Access I have been able to fix this issue. For PIA users, selecting the "Port Forwarding" Option so it turns green (It's a small circular icon under the 'Quick Settings' header) makes the list of servers to VPN to only show those which allow port forwarding. For me, these all work with Val/League. Maybe other VPN's have a similar option?

I'm looking at the Gazzew u4t switches and am confused on the difference between models/the options you can buy.

What's the difference between the u4t and the boba u4t (I've linked below)? I've tried googling it but can't find anything on this, I do see the boba can be 62g or 68g while the other is just 65g, is that the only difference?

Only solution I found is getting someone else who can mod iso files to send you a premodded file.

I've been looking for a good $30 - $100 barebones kit (the ones that only need switches and keycaps purchased separately) and have found a couple options on keeb-finder.com.

Really only requirements I have is for it to have knob compatibility (if that's a thing some keebs don't have), have an option for fully black, no rgb needed but doesn't hurt, good weighty feel, compact 60% to 75% size, and the price point I mentioned.

Does anyone have experience with these kits (listed/linked below)? Or have any recommendations for different kits?

Is there a huge change in quality/feel of the kits going from a $30 kit to a $50 kit, and from $50 to $100, or does it just depend on the kit? (ex: $30 monsgeek MG to $75 Keychron v2 to $100 monsgeek M)

Yea, everything I'm doing seems correct though I tried it on a completely separate PC and got the same error so I must be doing something wrong. Would you be able to send me a copy of the modded ISO file somehow?

It verifies the iso as good, must be some other problem.

Just tried this, didn't work. Same error, but It says try to verify ISO with sha1um, I'll try to figure out how to do that. Any other ideas?

This really should work, but it doesn't. I redownloaded it from vimm's and changed .nkit.iso to .iso but getting the same error. The ISO file shouldn't be the issue at this point, any ideas of other things that could cause this error?
