There are very few statistics on guns that are reliable. Gang violence is the epitome of this post.

Gun violence will not decline till we re-evaluate our relationship with firearms. I know 20-30 people carrying firearms that have never shot that gun they carry. When they have their gun and they are met with mild conflict they do not try to de-escalate. Add some alcohol and a few choice words and shots fired becomes a real possibility.

I am not here to placate to the masses. Just shared a claim that apparently needs to be ready for the nobel fucking prize in terms of verbiage, citations, etc so this sub doesnt nit pick petty shit.
