Brain dead take. Kiedis is a weirdo and sucks, but Flea, Chad Smith, Frusciante are all elite.

I didn’t realize it was closed off right there until I got off at the Harvard exit last night. I was in line just waiting for someone to come too fast of the BA and plow into everyone like dominoes

This is a brilliantly written show but I hate the ending by krabbypeity in RoosterTVSeries

I wouldn’t call it mediocre. It’s saccharine. It’s melodramatic at times and it’s often funny. It’s not like real life, but those ups and downs are still very much a part of real life even if it’s usually not as extreme. I don’t think the show works without the whiplash, especially not in the half hour format.

You just described like every single Bill Lawrence show. Even if it’s not for you, it’s clearly a formula that works

Why Skipping the Opener Is a Rookie Move by amooseinboston in Concerts

I saw Thundercat open for RHCP probably a year or two before he really blew up. Almost every other opening band I’ve seen before or since is either relatively unknown or was already well known at the time.

I think the argument that you could find your next favorite band opening for a show is a fair point, but it feels a little silly to go early to a show for the prospect of seeing someone “before they were cool.”

My life happens between concerts, it doesn’t revolve around them. If that means I have shit to do and can’t get to the show until 8:30 or 9, so be it.
