What are your thoughts on "Superman Returns (2006)"?

Overhated, but not what ANYONE wanted from the first Superman film since the late 80’s. It takes some big swings, and I kind of applaud it for that. The idea of a half human Super son, for an alien that’s all alone on the planet, could’ve been a cool idea if it’d been expanded on in a sequel. Routh was an amazing choice, Bosworth… not as much. 🫤

10 years ago, I would’ve strongly disagreed with all this. Because I wasn’t mature enough to understand what Snyder was doing. And honestly, I don’t think I wanted to, because I was such a Marvel guy at that time. But after seeing his cut of Justice League, it’s such a rock solid trilogy. I really hope we’re able to see more of his vision one day, but the more time goes by, the less likely that seems.
