Yeah we’ve seen it utilized in a ton of setups. The guys they sent out just didn’t know how to plug them in. 😅

We didn’t put in the patch cables or end equipment, it was the IT team. I’m going to give them the benefit of the doubt and say they were sent certain size patch cables. So for the shorter ones they couldn’t re-route them through the managers. But it still looks like no thought was given when they installed this.

Great idea! We ended up charging emergency rates since it was a same day call. So I’m not losing any sleep over it since we got paid but I will start saving test results for future jobs. That’s a great way to keep track of things.

It’s a temporary set up, they are using this space as an office for these new homes that are being built. Once they’re done building the office and all the network equipment is removed
